La alimentación no era lo que esperaba, el desayuno escaso y lamentablemente sin mucho sabor. Apesar de que en el café comimos sandwiches de pollo que tenían bastantes ingredientes también estaban desabridos y las papas fritas con demasiada grasa. Lamentablemente, en temas de alimentación la relación calidad-precio es regular.

Ya estamos de regreso en San José, y recordando nuestro finde en Casa Turire.

Logramos lo que buscábamos. Tiempo de calidad en familia. Un desconecte del corre corre. Melissa fue muy atenta a la hora de nuestro check in. Don Julio increíblemente amable cuando fuimos a la granja, nuestro hijo disfrutó muchísimo de los caballos y nosotros disfrutamos de escuchar a Don Julio hablar con tanto amor de sus “Guapos” (sus caballos). El joven del restaurante no alcancé preguntar Fer le su nombre pero el nos dio café, nos dio de cenar y de desayunar y siempre se caracterizó por su atención y amabilidad. Gracias Casa Turire.

De nuevo, reitero nuestro agradecimiento con el personal del hotel pues hicieron nuestra estadía muy amena.

Cons:

Queremos también dar una retroalimentación que nos parece importante. Nos hospedamos en la master suite. Es lamentable el estado de esta habitación. Tiene hermosas vistas, espacio increíblemente amplio, pero su deterioro es muy evidente. Entiendo que no sea una habitación que se use tan seguido como las otras por su alto costo, pero también por su costo creemos que el mantenimiento debería darse para dejarla impecable pues se paga prácticamente el doble que las demás habitaciones. Tuvimos el chance de ver una de las habitaciones más pequeñas un momento, y se veía mucho mejor cuidada que la máster suite.

Listado de cosas que sugerimos revisar:
El balcón de la habitación está muy sucio.
Una de las repisas del mueble de madera de la habitación está suelto (casi se me quiebra la botella de vino cuando la coloqué en esta repisa).
Al tratar de encender el jacuzzi salió un olor muy fuerte de la tubería. Decidimos no usarlo.
Un par de paños (los del baño de abajo) olían muy mal.
En general tanto la sala como la las gradas tienen olor a polvo.

El lugar muy agradable y tranquilo

Cons:

Podrían mejorar en la rigurosidad de la hora del ingreso a las habitaciones, ya que a veces se llega un poquito más temprano, no permiten el ingreso y la habitación ya estaba lista, e incluso nos la entregaron después de las tres, hasta que fuimos a preguntar

Très bel hôtel mais tout n’est pas très bien entretenu
Pros:

Maison coloniale magnifique mais qui aurait besoin d’un petit rafraîchissement.
Très bon restaurant et personnel très aimable et professionnel.

Cons:

Des cheveux collés sur le mur de la douche.
Cafetière dans la chambre qui ne fonctionne pas.
Poubelle de la chambre pas vidée.
La promenade proposée dans la forêt autour de l’hôtel n’était pas très agréable et sans intérêt.

A great stay in the Costa Rican highlands
Pros:

We had a great stay at Casa Turire, which is located in a very quiet and beautiful setting. The building really stunned us, the rooms were comfy and well-equipped. The breakfast included in the room price is excellent in quality (while maybe a bit short on quantity) and can be enjoyed on the beautiful terrace right next to the pool area. All staff members we interacted with were very friendly and attentive.
A great and beautiful location for a stopover, and we certainly would have wished to stay for more than one night.

Cons:

We enjoyed everything about the hotel.
The only points for potential improvement are the waiting times at dinner. Also, dinner was quite pricey (but not unusually high compared to similar properties in Costa Rica).
