Pros:

The hotel is clean and comfortable, friendly staff, nice sitting areas and patios. Good location, off the main road so it is quiet, but located in Puerto Viejo with restaurants and beaches a short walk away. Also a large grocery store around the corner which is handy.

Cons:

I would welcome a self serve coffee maker somewhere for early morning risers. I ended up buying an electric kettle and instant coffee for my use. Also, not much space to put cosmetics and misc things in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was comfortable.

- ruhige Lage unweit vom Zentrum von Puerto Viejo
- sauberes, geräumiges Zimmer
- nette Anlage mit Hängematten, Gemeinschaftsbereich etc.

Cons:

- kein negativ Punkt sondern eher ein Hinweis, dass die Zimmer keine Fenster haben, sondern eine Kombination aus einer Art Gitter und Mückennetz. Das ist aber wichtig, da es keine AC gibt und somit abends die kühlere Luft reinziehen kann. Wir konnten mit dem Ventilator aber gut schlafen.

Die Unterkunft war extrem sauber, sehr freundliche mitarbeitende, sehr bequeme Betten (eher hart, nicht weich), Moskitonetze an den Betten; sehr zentral gelegen

Es ist ein familiäres, bezauberndes Hotel mit sehr netten Mitarbeitern, einem wunderbaren Garten und einigen schönen Plätzen zum Entspannen.
Es liegt nicht direkt im Trubel von Puerto viejo, aber fußläufig zu Restaurants, Fahrradverleih, Busterminal etc. Man hört das Leben der Nachbarn, was aber nicht stört.
Das Frühstück ist mit Liebe zubereitet und lecker.
Wer eine persönliche Unterkunft im costaricanischen Leben und kein "steriles Hotel" sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

Pros:

We hebben leuke tijd gehad in het hotel. Kamer was ruim met leuk terrasje.
Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
De hangmatten in de lobby lagen zalig.

Cons:

Ontbijt om 8 u is naar Costa Ricaanse normen (met zonsopgang rond 6 uur) wel erg laat. Er zijn wel leuke ontbijtadresjes in de buurt die vroeger open zijn.
Zou ook handig geweest zijn als er voor 8 u al een mogelijkheid was om koffie te drinken.

Heel mooi hotel, schoon, goede locatie, fijne bedden. Fijn om een eigen balkonnetje bij je kamer te hebben.

Cons:

Erg gehorig (geen ramen maar alleen horren), dus als je moeite hebt met geluid snachts niet de beste keuze.

Om 8 uur savonds worden alle lampen uit gedaan en de kussens weggehaald op de stoelen en banken in de gezamelijke ruimtes.

Super schöne Zimmer mit perfektem Zimmerservice. Sehr gutes Klima, dadurch, dass keine Scheiben eingebaut sind. Dadurch entsteht auch eine wunderbare Verbindung zur Natur! Privatsphäre ist durch blickdichte Vorhänge gewährleistet. Personal immer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Lage des Hotels unschlagbar!
