Great location, wonderful hosts, and perfect pool!
Pros:

It was very close to town, but still in a quiet area. We especially enjoyed the pool area!

We wished we had another blanket for the bed, besides a sheet!

Very beautiful property, helpful staff, walkable to the beach
Pros:

The property is very beautiful with a nice pool and it is only about an 8 minute walk to the beach. The staff, which I believe to be just a couple and their housekeeping team, are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, although you have to pay, is very solid. They helped me by giving me a great overlook of the details of the town of Samara and also helped me with a laundry service, which was a fair price. The property is spacious with a good sized pool so I would definitely recommend this place, especially for the price in what is a pricey town of Samara.

Cons:

I have little complaints about this property, it would be nice to have breakfast included but like I mentioned above, all of Samara is pricey so I understand it. I found it just a tiny bit strange that they only provide you with a thin sheet, no blanket. It is understandable because Samara can be hot in dry season but still a bit strange.

A Hidden Oasis
Pros:

The location was so close to the beach and town!!! Easy to walk everywhere. The pool area i called my oasis, lush plants all around, located in the courtyard so private and beautiful. Loungers at the pool and outdoor dining area right next to it. They offered breakfast for a fee but I did not partake. I loved the decor as well, custom woodwork throughout.Brigitte and Lothar were perfect hosts always ready with answers and very accomodating. Loved it so much, extended my stay for several more days.

Cons:

It's not a complaint, because I sleep anywhere, but for those lite sleepers there was some road noise, which seems to be the norm in most Costa Rica towns.

Pros:

Eine gemütliche Oase mit vielen liebevollen Details, geführt von unheimlich lieben und hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Toller Pool, tolles Frühstück, wirklich zum wohlfühlen!

Cons:

Zum Strand sind es 5-7 Gehminuten - aber das weiss man vorher, wenn man die Beschreibung liest und es ist daher Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Très joli lodge bien entretenu avec une piscine sympa près de laquelle est servi le petit déjeuner
Seul bémol le bruit des motocyclettes débridées qui gâche la quiétude du lieu et rend les nuits difficiles

Pros:

Lovely staff, very attentive and really help you out when in trouble (I got sunburnt a little and the owner cut some aloe vera for me which really helped). The place is also well located, close to the beach but not on the main street so a quieter spot. The pool is also good to refresh when hiding from the sun.

Cons:

I missed the iron as our clothes were pretty crumpled from the trips before but otherwise this place was perfect for us.

Perfekt zum entspannen und relaxen, nicht weit vom Meer.
Pros:

Ein wirklich wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Die Lodge wird liebevoll von Lothar und Brigitte geführt – ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und stets hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen.

Der Pool ist groß, sehr gepflegt und lädt perfekt zum Entspannen ein. Das Zimmer war schön, geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einem tollen Blick auf den Pool. Besonders angenehm ist auch die Lage: nicht weit vom Meer entfernt und das Dorf ist bequem fußläufig erreichbar.

Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut, mit Kaffee und Tee so viel man möchte. Insgesamt eine sehr ruhige, angenehme Atmosphäre und eine Unterkunft, die wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Super liebe Gastgeberin, hilfsbereit, Anlage wunderschön gemacht. Tolles Zimmer. mit Fan & Klima zum Wählen. Zum Strand ca.+/-6 Min. Pool auch sehr sauber. Bikder sind Authentisch.

Cons:

Manchmal hört man die Strasse. Moped oder Auto kann laut sein. Ist denke ich normal hier. Wenn man komplette Ruhe möchte, muss man ausserhalb vin Samara oder weit weg von Strasse. Für mich wars ok.

Pros:

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They provided a map of the area and great information on local places to eat. The pool was excellent. We didn't eat breakfast there so couldn't comment on it. We had an issue with our rental car and they were very helpful coordinating with the rental company for a replacement. That was greatly appreciated.
