Allein schon Marisa und Mustafa sind die Reise wert!!
Pros:

In dieser Unterkunft kann man gar nicht anders, als sich mit den geografischen , historischen, Lebensbedingungen des einzigartigen Ortes auseinander zu setzen. Wie schon von vielen beschrieben ist Marisa eine außergewöhnliche Küchenchefin und Mustafa nicht nur der Mann, der alle Eure Probleme löst, sondern def Mann, der Euch durch seine außergewöhnliche Biografie und seine bis ins Extreme gesteigerte Passion des Kletterns unausgesprochen damit konfrontiert, dass es eher kleinbürgerlich und stink normal ist, hierher zu kommen und mit einem jungen Guide auf den Pico do Fogo zu steigen. Anstrengend für wahr! Bleibt lieber für ein paar Tage und vielleicht versteht ihr dann mehr als nur, dass eure körperliche Verfassung es noch erlaubt, den Vulkan zu bezwingen.

Unique and unforgettable
Pros:

Unbelievable experience- to stay with a view of Pico Fogo right in front of you, day and night. Marisa provides everything you need, our excellent guide up the volcano, transfers from Sao Philipe, pack lunches, lunch, dinner etc. We took a number of meals in town however just to meet the village. Everyone was so friendly, and happy to have us. Our roundelle was perfect for the view but also our private roof terrace with hammocks and sofa.

Cons:

Nothing but don’t worry about it being cold at night- the lava under the floors is perfect heating. We slept with all windows Open and fan on - despite the altitude.

Very good experience
Pros:

Excellent location with a splendid view of the volcano.
Lunch was delicious and freshly made.
The lodges look amazing from the outside; the design is very Instagrammable.
Staff were amazing—friendly, approachable, and very helpful.

Cons:

We stayed in Lodge No. 12, but the hot water was boiling hot and impossible to shower with. The owner offered to move us to another lodge or use another room’s bathroom, which was inconvenient.
Payment by card is not possible, only cash.

Excelente alojamiento en un lugar impresionante
Pros:

El emplazamiento es maravilloso y el personal es muy amable y eficiente. Mustafa, el dueño, proporciona toda la información necesaria y puede organizar diversas excursiones y proporcionar transporte a los distintos lugares interesantes de Fogo. Te entran ganas de volver.

En todo momento me encontré bien.

Struttura a livello colonia estiva anni '70
Pros:

La pensione Marisa si trova a Cha das Caldeiras nel cratere del Vulcano di Fogo. In questa zona si va essenzialmente per scalare il Pico de Fogo, rispettivamente per effettuare altre escursioni e la pensione serve come campo base. La struttura é suddivisa tra un corpo centrale con la grande sala da pranzo unita ad un giardino interno attorniato dalle camere e la zona dei bungalows, strutture rotonde con all'interno la camera da letto ed il bagno, mentre sul tetto si trova una terrazza panoramica. Mustafà su richiesta organizza le guide per le escursioni.

Cons:

I bungalows sono arredati con mobili che hanno visto stagioni migliori, il bagno é a dir poco spartano, senza tenda da doccia e con gli scarichi poco efficienti. L'acqua deve venir trasportata in loco con cisterne, che dovrebbero essere comandate per tempo... nel nostro caso più volte siamo rimasti a secco. L'acqua calda proviene da un piccolo boiler, riscaldato con pannelli solari, quindi ce n'é solo di giorno e solo fin quando é finita... La colazione é una delle peggiori in tutta Capo Verde. Il ristorante serve solo due piatti (che a volte si ripetono a mezzogiorno e alla sera).

Staying in Casa Marisia allowed me to have one of the best experiences in my life
Pros:

Staying at Casa Marisia was honestly the best choice I could have made for my days on Fogo Island. Everything was so well taken care of — from arranging my transport to organizing a guide for the volcano hike, they made everything easy and stress-free.

The staff are just the sweetest people, always kind and welcoming, and they really made me feel at home. And the food… wow, absolutely delicious, every meal was a highlight.

If you’re reading this, don’t think twice — book a room at Casa Marisia, you definitely won’t regret it.

Pros:

Ubicación excepcional, vistas al volcán en pleno cráter. La comida era deliciosa y raciones abundantes. El personal muy amable y ofrecen muchas alternativas para facilitar tu viaje, visitar la isla y la subida al volcán.

Cons:

Las cabañas están deterioradas, necesitan una reforma y no hay agua caliente, con poca presión (probablemente por la ubicación y el sistema que utilizan en el cráter)

Fantàstic!
Pros:

L'estada a Casa Marisa ha estat excepcional! L'habitació tenia la mida adequada per 4 persones. El tracte és molt familiar i extraordinàriament meravellós. A remarcat que tots els menjars que ens han cuinat eren deliciosos i en tot moment ens han atès molt bé.

Cons:

Podria millora el WIFI a les casetes i l'aigua no era gaire calenta a l'hora de la dutxa.

La ubicació és inmillorable i les instal·lacions molt cuidades recullen la tradició de la zona.

Cons:

Els lavabos eren bastant precaris en quant a la dutxa. No hi ha havia gairebé pressió i la temperatura era molt freda. Haguessim agraït un ventilador a cada habitació.

Un séjour paisible avec une vue époustouflante
Pros:

La vue de notre chambre donnait directement sur le Pico de Fogo, c’était un moment suspendu et magique que nous avons vécu ! Elle a un jardin de succulente, c’est super joli !
Marisa est super sympa, elle parle français ce qui est un plus pour nous.
Nous avons mangé l’intégralité de nos repas chez elle, mise à part un soir chez Vava notre guide pour l’ascension du volcan.
Si un jour, l’occasion se présente de revenir à Fogo, nous reviendrons sans hésiter chez elle !

Cons:

Un ventilateur fonctionnel serait un plus dans la chambre, nous avons dormi la porte ouverte.
Il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude sur l’ensemble du séjour mais cela ne nous a pas posé de problème en vu de la chaleur.

L’emplacement est idéal : on ne peut pas rêver mieux pour profiter du Volcan ! La vue est tout simplement à couper le souffle.
Les petits-déjeuners sont délicieux et très copieux, tout comme les plats proposés aux déjeuners et au dîners.
Marisa s’est occupée de nos transferts à l’arrivée et au départ, et nous a mis en contact avec un guide pour organiser notre ascension.
Avec deux enfants, nous avons choisi de gravir le Petit Pico, de découvrir les coulées de lave et de visiter une grotte. Près de 4 heures de randonnée, parfait pour notre famille.
Je recommande vivement ce lieu extraordinaire !
