Pros:

Staying inside a volcanic crater surrounded by black lava rocks is a truly unique experience, places like this where you can actually stay inside a crater are rare worldwide, as most are active or strictly protected national parks. Finding such an extraordinary guesthouse here made it even more special.

I spent three nights in a private cottage and spent most of my time chilling out on the rooftop, admiring the breathtaking Milky Way every night (highly recommend stepping away from the lights for the best view). You can really feel the owner's attention to detail throughout the spacious property, it even features a mini skatepark, a climbing wall, and bikes for rent.

The owner is an expert climber who uses his knowledge to empower the local community. By training local villagers, he has helped them lead tourists up the volcano in a much more professional, safe, and structured way. He is incredibly friendly, and it was a real pleasure meeting him.

Water supply can be a bit unstable at times, but in such a remote location, this is completely understandable. I truly hope to visit again in the future!

Un lieu unique à découvrir !
Pros:

Hebergement unique, dans un village perdu au pied d'un magnifique volcan. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour, hors du temps. Les funcos ont beaucoup de charme, on peut admirer le volcan depuis son petit toit terrasse dans un hamac.
Le confort est sommaire, mais c'est adapté au lieu unique et au respect de l'environnement et des habitants
Marisa parle français et répond à toutes vos questions, c'est un vrai plus. Le jardin est magnifique et très reposant
Le village se situe a quelques minutes à pied

Cons:

Par contre, je ne recommande pas le guide de l'hôtel pour l'ascension du volcan. Nous avons payé 80€ (20€ de plus que le prix obtenu par d'autres touristes). Le guide a passé toute la randonnée sur son téléphone a regarder des vidéos Tiktok, pas un seul mot, pas de pause. Aucun partage sur la culture locale. Nous avons préféré terminer la descente seuls, c'était plus agréable.

Le prix des repas et des boissons pourraient être affiché.

het uitzicht op de vulkaan is adembenemend met bovendien de mooiste sterrenhemel die je je kan voorstellen ... ze organiseren de beklimming van de vulkaan en je kan er fietsen huren

niks eigenlijk ... de meeste voorzieningen zijn eerder om de avontuurlijke toeristen te verwelkomen maar het was er erg rustig in de periode dat wij er waren

Soggiorno fantastico! Ci siamo trovati benissimo: stanza confortevole, servizi ottimi e pasti (colazione, pranzo e cena) sempre buoni.
Un ringraziamento speciale a Mustafa e Marisa, che ci hanno aiutato a organizzare tutto alla perfezione, trovandoci anche la guida Eudes: bravissimo nell'accompagnarci nella salita al Pico do Fogo e nell'escursione al tunnel di lava, condividendo con noi le sue conoscenze del luogo. Grazie all'organizzazione di Mustafa, abbiamo anche potuto partecipare a una degustazione di vino locale, guidata sempre da Eudes.
Bellissimo anche il terrazzino del bungalow con vista sul vulcano: un posto perfetto anche solo per rilassarsi, senza per forza fare escursioni.
Consigliatissimo!

Cons:

Un piccolo suggerimento per il futuro: a volte l'acqua in bagno arrivava con poca pressione e non era caldissima, ma solo tiepida. Non un vero problema, dato che le temperature esterne lo permettono comunque, ma sarebbe comunque un valore aggiunto poter contare su un'acqua più calda.

Pros:

La terraza superior de los bungalows es increíble. Comida muy buena. Perfecto para hacer la excursión al pico, ahí mismo organizan con el guía.

La ubicació i la facilitat en poder contractar excursions a través de la gerent. També l'amabilitat del personal a la casa i per indicar caminades. L'espai interior, decorat amb centenars de plantes autóctones és un plus.

Cons:

Per la nit fa molta calor a l'habitació si no es ventila, ja que del terra irradia calor, i no hi ha aigua calenta per les condicions de la zona.

Un très bel emplacement et une hôtesse très agréable
Pros:

L'hébergement était très original et avait une vue exceptionnelle sur le volcan. Marie Maryse est très attentionné aux besoins de ses clients et s'adapte à nos horaires parfois très matinaux.
