The staff was great, very nice, accommodating and engaging throughout our stay. The view at sunset from the room to the moais in front was amazing. The lodge was clean and felt very safe. The rooms have AC, which is essential in the island. Great value for money, we would recommend!
Even though the location was great in front of the sea and the moai, we would have appreciated to be closer to the town centre (30' minutes walking).

La ubicación al lado de Tahai, un lugar hermoso para ver el atardecer. Al frente de un exquisito restaurante (el único en el sector). Fácil de llegar al centro caminando o en auto.
Despertar con el cacareo de gallos y gallinas (aunque Takarua tenía tapones para los oidos como gentileza).
Poco iluminado el sector en la noche aunque no es algo específico del lodge sino de toda la isla
Lá ubicación del hotel es increíble, el mejor atardecer de la isla… toda la gente que trabaja en el hotel es muy amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar… muy buen desayuno además!

The location was fabulous, right next to Taha Park, the open area with Moai you can enter without permit and use your walk to town and the seawater swimming lido in 15 minutes. The most beautiful place for sunsets on the island and in rooms 1,2,3,4, easily viewed from the terrace. Lovely addition of continental breakfast with eggs brought to our room each morning. Next to one of the best restaurants with wonderful sunset views and good food. Staff at lodge all very pleasant and helpful.
Roosters will wake you up very early, but not a problem in our case as were up early ourselves. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Great aircon and excellent hot water pressure in shower.

No body lotion in the bathroom.
Only able to get milk at the breakfast so although there were tea and coffee making facilities there was no milk.
It is perfectly located, walking distance to restaurants, bars cafe, water front... great breakfast brought to your room to enjoy on your patio. Sunsets are in front of your doorsteps.
We feel fortunate that the lodge had availability during our stay on Easter Island. The lodge was part of the island experience, not just a place stay. The friendly staff were helpful, the gardens on the grounds were beautiful, and rooms were comfortable and clean. Bonus: The lodge is steps away from Maoi with sunset views.
We loved everything about Takarua Lodge. Great location, spacious, comfortable room, and the staff were all absolutely amazing.
