Takarua Lodge

The room was spacious and the view from the porch was spectacular. The images of the morning sunrise and the evening sunset on the Moai in the adjacent park will never be forgotten. Each morning a breakfast was delivered to my room. The quality of the food and its presentation, was excellent. What really separates the Takarua Lodge from other accommodations is the staff. Every staff member that I encountered on my three night stay was courteous and professional. I would like to again express my appreciation to “AYLIN” who on very short notice, arranged a private guide to take me to various National Park sites.

Girls at reception are so friendly, kind and willing to share info about food, dining, also super supporting in making reservations.

Beautiful quiet location close to the ocean. Wonderful staff !!

Una vista privilegada a Tahai, un lugar muy cómodo, seguro y tranquilo. El restaurante que queda al frente es buenísimo. El desayuno es muy completo y te lo sirven en la habitación en el horario que elijas y también lo puedes pedir para llevar si es que el tour comienza temprano. Las chicas de recepción tienen una tremenda disposición, son todas un amor. Había leído que quedaba lejos del centro pero no son más de 15 minutos caminando por un paisaje maravilloso, incluso de noche es seguro y el cielo estrellado se ve espectacular. Volvería mil veces a esta hermosa isla y me hospedaría en el mismo hotel.

Самый лучший отель на острове! Рядом потрясающий вид на моаи и закат. Прям из номера видно. Завтрак приносят в номер очень вкусный! Трансфер и туда и обратно!

We loved staying here, pick up and drop off at the airport was organised by reception, the staff were welcoming and
very helpful. Our room was lovely with a nice patio overlooking the pretty garden and with views of moai in the distance. We had room no 1. Lovely walk along the coast to the town. The staff also put us in touch with tour companies

Friendly staff, great location

Un rêve! Le logement est situé à côté de Tahai avec ses moais. Sur la terrasse de la chambre on a une vue sur la mer et un moai! Personnel très gentil et serviable. Très bon petit déjeuner servi dans la chambre. Bon restaurant en face. Magnifique plantes et fleurs dans le jardin. 15 minutes à pied du village. Meilleur coucher du soleil de l’île à Tahai.

Great Location

Vi kunne godt lide terrassen og generelt stedet. Derudover var personalet fantastisk. Vi blev ramt af sygdom dagen vi skulle afrejse, og fik lov til at få late check out i et andet værelse. Det var en kæmpe hjælp, som vi er meget taknemmelig for!

Room was large as was the bathroom, beds were comfortable, and the view of the Tahai moaia against the sea from your bed and the patio were magical.

Schon die Kommunikation im Vorwege war einfach top – super freundlich, schnell und hat sofort Lust auf Rapa Nui gemacht. Am Flughafen wurden wir abgeholt und direkt mit einer Blumenkette begrüßt. Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, mit extra WC im Bad und einer kleinen Terrasse mit Blick auf einen Moai! Das Frühstück war liebevoll vorbereitet, und für unseren ersten Morgen gab es sogar eine Lunchbox zum Mitnehmen. Absolut klasse.

Auch bei der Kommunikation mit dem Touranbieter wurde uns geholfen, und das Ausleihen des Suzuki Jimny lief ebenfalls reibungslos (kleiner Hinweis: vollgetankt zurückgeben 😉 – danke übrigens an den Vormieter, der das nicht getan hat… wir haben dafür netterweise sogar einen Rabatt bekommen).

Zum Abschied gab es noch eine Moai-Halskette als Andenken, eine wirklich schöne Geste.
Die Lodge liegt ruhig außerhalb bei den Moais für den Sonnenuntergang und ist trotzdem fußläufig zur „Stadt“. Perfekte Lage, toller Service und ganz viel Herz.
