Pros:

das Hotel liegt direkt an der Donau neben der Steinernen Brücke. Ein alter Bau, der wunderbar unter Erhalt seiner Atmosphäre hergerichtet wurde. wir hatten das Zimmer direkt unterm Dach gebucht, ein Erlebnis mit Blick auf die Donau, den Dom und über die Dächer der Stadt.

Cons:

Da es keinen Aufzug gibt, war der Aufstieg etwas anstrengend, aber wir wurden gefragt, ob wir das auch wirklich wollen.

Nicely situated, not sure we would stay there again

It was well situated, the room was clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful

Cons:

Access was not easy, hard to park outside, check in is at the sister hotel which is a 5 min walk away, parking was about 10 min away, it was quite pricy compared to other hotels we booked on our road trip considering breakfast was not included. Also you need to be aware this is a very old building, 4 floors with no lift (we were on the top) and an old stone spiral staircase to access each floor. The floorboards were very creaky, not an issue for us as we were top floor, but pretty sure the rooms below us would be annoyed. Also there was a party on the ground floor the night we were there, it was quite loud until after midnight. (Even on the 4th floor!)

Pros:

Das Zimmer war fein, bequem und charmant.

Die Lage, direkt an der Donau und Brücke sehr schön in der Altstadt.

Es hat wenig Ruhe. Eine sehr belebte Strassen besonders in der Nacht (anliegende Lokale, laute Gespräche und Gesänge draussen auf dem Bürgersteig vor dem Hotel, bis weit nach Mitternacht.

Hotel in historischem Gebäude im Zentrum - allerdings sehr laute Umgebung und keine Klimatisierung
Pros:

Das Hotel im restaurierten, historischen Gebäude war an und für sich sehr nett und charmant eingerichtet. Das Check-in und das Frühstück im dazugehörenden Goliath Hotel war grundsätzlich auch ok.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt im extrem stark touristisch belebten Teil im Zentrum von Regensburg und es gab "gröllende" Partygäste und Touristen die bis 3 Uhr Früh durch die Straßen zogen. Außerdem war es an diesem Abend extrem heiß. An schlafen war praktisch nicht zu denken, da die Fenster überhaupt nicht lärmgedämmt sind und auch keine Klimaanlage vorhanden war.
Darüberhinaus geht auf der Webseite nicht hervor, dass es in der Nähe praktisch keine Parkmöglichkeiten gibt. Ich denke, die Webseite sollte über diese Umstände wesentlich deutlicher aufklären.
