Große gut ausgestattete Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Marmeladen und das wunderbare Rechenberger Bier!
We chose this property because they accept dogs. The property is located about a 10 minute drive to Seiffen, which was our destination for the weekend. The neighborhood is off the beaten path. Hikers and cyclist, as well as motorcycle groups would find this location appealling as it's near trails and has a lovely restaurant and large terrace overlooking a babbling brook and forested area. We ate in the restaurant the first night, service and food both very good. There is free parking just a very short distance from the pension. Good shower pressure. Good coffee at breakfast.
Breakfast was included but a bit heavy on meat choices. I know this is typical German fare, but at least one sweet bread choice would have been appreciated and or a few more fresh fruit options. There was no way to darken the room, so if you are sensitive to sunlight you will probaly wake early. The towels have seen better times, and you need to bring your own shampoo and body soap. Be prepared to speak German, a bit of a " lost in translation".
Everyone was friendly, helpful, and super nice. We ate diner and breakfast there and it was excellent! I would stay there again, if I was ever in that area again!
