Hervorragendes Preisleistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, wir sind vormittags angereist und konnten den Parkplatz direkt benutzen. Auch das Zimmer stand direkt zu unserer Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und verfügen über einen durch einen Raumteiler abgetrennten zweiten Bereich mit Couch und Sessel, den man zum Fernsehen nutzen kann. Die Minibar ist gut gefüllt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Betten sind bequem. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist für ein kleines Hotel sehr reichhaltig und die Dame vom Service hat stets dafür gesorgt, dass es an nichts gefehlt hat.
Das ganze zu einem fairen Preis.

Cons:

Es gab im Bad einen Badvorleger wie zu Hause. Ich würde mir austauschbare Bodentücher wie in Businesshotels wünschen. Es gab eine dritte Handtuchgarnitur, wir haben dann diese für den Boden verwendet.

Das Personal hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Dame, die uns morgens beim Frühstück zum Tisch begleitet hat, war sehr freundlich. Sie hat uns beim Frühstück öfters gefragt, ob wir noch Kaffee möchten oder ob uns noch was fehlt. Sie hat sich um alle Tische gekümmert, hat abgeräumt, wenn Gäste mit dem Frühstück fertig waren.

Cons:

Das ist schon unser 2. Aufenthalt in der Alten Linde und schon beim ersten Mal, hatte ich das Thema Frühstück in der Bewertung angesprochen. Leider wurde nichts geändert. Sehr geringe Auswahl, Wurst und Käse sind auf einem Teller. Nicht appetitlich, wenn man Vegetarier ist, vor allem gab es nur eine Sorte Käse. Keine Gurken, keine Tomaten, keine Paprika. Sehr trocken. Zum Glück gab es wenigstens Müsli. Der „Buffetraum“ war leider sehr dunkel.

Pros:

Beautiful traditional hotel on the river...very picturesque. We asked for a balcony room and the obliged and did not charge us extra. The staff were extremely helpful and assisted with us catching buses etc. Ask for a bus pass which is free with your accommodation.

Cons:

Loved the traditional feel but the room decor felt a bit 'tired ' and old fashioned.

Pretty on the outside.
Pros:

The Alte Linde is ideally located along the river close to the train station and is good for accessing the Treetop walk on the Sommerberg. The hotel looks lovely from the outside.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the interior of the hotel let it down massively. The decor and furnishings are very tired and old fashioned; the rooms don’t look like they’ve been updated since the 80s. We felt like it was very overpriced for the room, and would not choose to stay there again.

This is a very pleasant property, excellent on-site restaurant, nice staff
Pros:

The location of the hotel is wonderful in relationship to the town. It is right on the River and has flower baskets hanging from all balconies.

Cons:

Due to the unusual heatwave, the room did get a bit warm by the end of the day.
