Das Zimmer war schlicht schlecht, am Tag unserer Ankunft war um 18 Uhr die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt und wir bekamen

Das Frühstück, das Essens-Konzept

Cons:

Das Badezimmer von Zimmer 1 war indiskutabel: kein Waschbecken sondern ein Spucknapf und die Dusche so klein, dass man sich nicht drin bücken konnte, selbst die Toilette war ultrakurz.
Klapperschrank, diese alten Kleiderbügel zum Einhaken (!), keine Ablage für den Koffer und ein Fernseher, den man vom Bett aus kaum sehen konnte, da er auf einem Hocker stand.

Lage an der sehr lauten Strasse - hatten extra um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten. Keine Lärmdämmung zum Nachbarzimmer.
Frühstückstisch musste man selbst decken - überschaubares Frühstück - Heißgetränk hätte man überteuert zukaufen müssen (No go!) Unfreundlichkeit / Teilnahmlosigkeit bei der Verabschiedung.

Nettes Ambiente mit Potential für kleine Verbesserungen.
Pros:

Besonders freundlich war das Personal im Restaurant, das Essen war sehr gut, eine umständliche Speisekarte, aber der Service machte das wett. Die Preise lagen im oberen Segment. Das Zimmer war sauber und wir haben gut geschlafen. Die Lage war sehr schön und mit wenigen Schritten war man am Rhein. Parkplätze waren ohne Zusatzkosten vorhanden.

Cons:

Der Empfang war nüchtern und es folgte ein Hinweis zu einem Eingang über dem Hof zu gehen, dort fanden wir dann auch unser Zimmer. Allerdings mit den Koffern war eine sehr steile Treppe zu erklimmen. Die Standard Suite war sehr einfach, das Bett bequem. Der Fernseher davor war klein und selbst auf der Bettkante hätte man kaum etwas gesehen, also wurde er nicht benutzt. Die Couch war ohne einen kleinen Ablagetisch davor und der Blick ging direkt auf eine kahle Wand. Die wäre der richtige Platz für den Fernseher gewesen. Der Straßenlärm war gegeben, aber nicht sehr stark störend. Wir vermissten im Zimmer eine Übersicht von hilfreichen Daten wie WLAN Passwort, Telefonnummern usw.
