Leisure Courtyard Hotel Yangshuo

I had a wonderful, one night stay at this property as a solo female traveller. I felt very well taken care of by Lina and Ken. Lina cooked up a delicious dinner and Chinese breakfast. Ken helped me sort out travel plans with great patience and lovely cups of tea. The views from the rooms are stunning and you're close to the pier where you can catch a bamboo raft. Xingping Ancient Town is a short taxi ride away and you're also within walking distance of the famous scenery on the RMB 20 note. If you're looking for a charming, Chinese style accommodation in a quiet location close to the mountains, this is the place to stay! I can highly recommend it.

Everything! The mountain views, the room, the calm... And the best the personal attention and the cooking, amazing! They are very nice and attentive.

It is a well appointed Chinese classical style boutique hotel run by the owners. The location is fantastic- super views of the nearby karst hills and a few minutes walk to the river. One can just spend hours/ days here relaxing. The area is quiet and rural but close to all the tourist traps and shopping. We loved to sit in the courtyard in the afternoon where Mr. Fan the owner would kindly make us tea from his collection. You don’t need to plan your activities before arrival. Mr. Fan will help you organize on arrival; or like us, we did everything impromptu - float down the river on bamboo raft, take a trip to see the Moon mountain and down to the rice paddies and pomelo groves on the paths less travelled. You will really appreciate the kindness of the owners ( no words to express). I am carrying a bag of fresh passion fruits that Lina gave us for our long train trip. Mr. Fan saw us off at the train station where we all hugged and promised to return next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. From the moment we arrived, the husband and wife who run the hotel made us feel truly welcome and at home. Their hospitality was exceptional — they helped organize our activities and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our stay.
The breakfast, prepared and arranged by the wife, was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start each day. Although the hotel is not located in the city center, its peaceful setting and beautiful landscape more than make up for it. Our room was extremely spacious, comfortable, and spotless.
We were genuinely impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, relaxing, and memorable stay.

Great location near to Xianggong mountain and railway station. The owners really helped us and made a huge difference. We organised most activities with them that were really good. Cormorant fisherman was great, xianggong sunrise and then a full day with private car to roam around. They also pre booked tickets for us. also, Lina’s cooking is really top notch - we had the best ever beer fish and fried tofu. Really really good! The view of the mountains is really great from the room.

We had a wonderful stay at Leisure Courtyard Hotel. Upon arrival, we were picked up from Yangshuo station and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, suggesting activities and routes for us to explore the beautiful area. We particularly enjoyed the bike ride (with free bikes) from the hotel through a gorgeous and quiet scenic route. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable and of good quality. The shower had excellent water pressure as well as ample hot water. There is a beautiful view straight onto the mountains from the room. The room was quiet and was equipped with heating, which is essential for the winter months. It was the perfect base to explore Xingping. Lina is a great cook as well - the food is delicious, a welcome contrast to the strong flavours in the touristy restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Accueil très chaleureux de la part de Lina, de son mari et de la dame à la réception. Ils nous ont donné d’excellents conseils sur les activités et les visites à faire à Yangshuo.
Des vélos sont mis gratuitement à disposition, ce qui permet de découvrir facilement les alentours. L’hôtel est situé à seulement 10 minutes du centre-ville, dans un environnement calme et agréable.
La chambre était très propre, confortable et offrait une vue incroyable.
Un excellent séjour du début à la fin, nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésiter !

The view and the location was ok to see the local sights but very far out from the city centre

This is a 5 star hotel but with a warm home feeling. Everything was great from the moment the owner, Mr Fan, met us at Yangshuo Railway station. He was really welcoming and friendly. There was no elevator but his staff helped to bring our suitcases up the stairs which was much appreciated after a long train ride. Lina, his wife, cooked the most delicious dinner on our first night. We had to order this in advance but she sent us the menu one day earlier. We chose the Chinese set menu for breakfast daily, which was included in our room rate.
Our 2-bedroom suite were steps away from Li River, close to the 20 yuan viewpoint. It had large windows where we could see the magnificent karst mountains from both bedrooms. There was even a balcony to enjoy the view. Having a washing machine in our room was great with plenty of hangers to hang our laundry. The bathroom was fitted with modern amenities but aesthetically it blended really well with the more traditional chinese decor in the bedrooms. Daily housekeeping by staff was of very high standard.,
It was very easy to get Didi taxi through our Alipay app. The main thing to note is that one must use the name Xian Ting Mei Su Boutique Inn, Yangshuo and not Leisure Courtyard Hotel Yangshuo for the address. During the day, it cost us 52 yuan to get Yangshuo. After watching the Impressions of Liu Sanjie show, and a late dinner, coming back to hotel cost us 85 yuan (we thought it was because he had to get back to main town).
Mr Fan was extremely patient in helping us with our holiday needs. You could tell him all your plans and he could help you arrange the best way to cover them all. We did a private tour one afternoon through his arrangements to Xianggongsan and Ten Thousand Mountains where we saw the sunset. If not for his advice, we would have missed this as Ten Thousand Mountains was not in our initial plan! We thank Mr Fan, Lina and their team for the most memorable stay!

Tout était parfait.
La grande chambre spacieuse et comfortable. Le balcon plein soleil matin et après midi face à une vue exceptionnelle sur les montagnes, au calme, loin du tumulte de la ville.
Je vous conseille d'aller vous balader en face de l'hotel jusqu'à la Li River et de longer à gauche. Le chemin est magnifique. Je conseille également l'ascension du Laozhai Hill et Xianggongshan qui sont tous deux proche de l'hôtel.
Le petit déjeuner et les repas le soir dans l'hôtel sont délicieux.
Le personnel est accueillant, sympa et de bons conseils. Possibilité de louer un vélo ou un scooter.
Pick up gratuit le jour du départ pour la gare de Yangshuo, reliant Guilin en 20min pour 3€.

Very nice and cozy hotel with perfect views, comfortable beds and very nice hosts. We felt very welcome and the hosts were very helpful when we had questions. The location is a few minutes drive from the town in a more quiet area, great for exploring the area by electric scooter. The breakfast was nice as well. Would be happy to come back!
