Pros:

L'hôtel est parfaitement situé pour faire la randonnée magnifique le long de la rivière jusqu'à Yangdi. La vue depuis la chambre est sensationnelle. La chambre est grande, propre et très confortable. Les petits déjeuners et repas sont très bons. Tout le monde est très gentils, nous donne des conseils. On nous a prêté des vélos et organisé le transport jusqu'au lever de soleil. Bref, c'était parfait !

Beautiful view and very warm owners
Pros:

Such a wonderful stay! The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. We completely understand what other guests meant when they said the owners make you feel like part of the family. Our room had a stunning view of the karst mountains. Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with the family and other guests made our stay even more special. We absolutely loved it here and would highly recommend this place.

A quiet escape in the Yangshuo countryside
Pros:

This place is a hidden gem in Yangshuo. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, rooms are clean and spacious. A nice bonus is that food is amazing, we had several dinners at the hotel and had a great meal every time. The location is a bit far from Xingping, but it adds value, since it is located in a quieter area with easy access to the river. The balcony was a bless to enjoy the view

Cons:

The organised hikes on offer were quite expensive. With a bit of online research, we were able to recreate one independently and it turned out great, at a fraction of the cost. Breakfast could benefit from a wider variety of options.

Che bella scoperta!
Pros:

E' un 10 insolito, come è insolita e piacevole questa struttura.
Eccezionale il supporto di Lina e di suo marito, che ci hanno aiutato ad organizzare ogni spostamento ed attività che abbiamo richiesto, con precisione, puntualità e gentilezza.
Camera veramente carina, mette serenità.
Biciclette a disposizione gratuitamente e con queste abbiamo raggiuto il centro di Xingping (bellissimo), il famoso spot della banconota da 20 Yuan e anche il traghetto che ti porta dalle navette per raggiungere il monte Xianggong (con uno dei panorami più belli visti in Cina).
Due opzioni per la colazione, preparata al momento.
Non lontato, in auto, dalla stazione di Yangshou.
Sicuramente torneremmo in questo hotel!

The best things about the place were the good refrigerator, the air conditioning, and the reasonably comfortable beds.

I’ll start from the beginning. The room was supposed to cost €140 per person. According to the Booking.com agreement, our room was supposed to include a kitchen with an electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, and a jacuzzi/hot tub. None of these facilities were available in the room. So where did this astronomical price come from?
We had agreed with the owner in advance that she would arrange a transfer from the airport late in the evening. The transfer was arranged, and we arrived at the hotel at 1:30 a.m., absolutely exhausted.
Immediately upon arrival, the owner demanded that we pay in cash, even though my Booking.com reservation clearly stated that I could pay by bank card. We did not have that amount of cash with us. I asked if I could pay by credit card. The owner then said that because she did not have a system for processing our card, we would have to pay an additional €30 (234 yuan) “tax.”
For what exactly?
She did not offer to let us pay in the morning. Instead, she simply said that she would not let us into the room during the night unless we paid. We had no choice but to hand over the extra money. Her son, a young boy, was constantly watching what was in our wallets. I consider this behavior completely unacceptable and, frankly, bordering on extortion on the part of the owners.
As for the room itself: yes, it was spacious, and yes, there was a beautiful view from the window. But I did not receive even half of what was stated in the reservation agreement.
As for the food, we only had breakfast. Every day we were served the same noodles, prepared with tap water. We asked for an English breakfast and received two eggs and some bread — that’s all.
The location is another problem. There is practically no transportation available at all. Walking to a shop in the heat is unbearable.
