Alles in allem
Pros:

Sehr gutes Essen, gutes Frühstück
Zimmer ,Sauberkeit alles ok .
Gute Wander-und Radlmöglichkeiten.

Cons:

auffallend war, dass in Gomadingen und 10 km Umgebung die meisten Gasthäuser (mit vernünftigen Preisen für Ottonormalverbraucher) an den gleichen Tagen Ruhetag hatten. Wir fuhren X-km bis wir endlich in Engstingen einkehren konnten.

Waren nicht zum ersten und bestimmt auch nicht zum letzten Mal da.
Pros:

Zimmer war groß und ruhig nach hinten raus gelegen, Frühstück war gut und reichlich. Sehr gute Ausgangslage für Rad- und Wandertouren in der Nähe, besonders im Großen Lauter-Tal. Nicht weit vom ehem. Truppenübungsplatz Münsingen.

Cons:

für die Nichtreinigung der Zimmer wurde ein Berg-Bier als Belohnung versprochen, darauf haben wir leider vergeblich gewartet, war aber nicht entscheidend.

Unsere Übernachtung war nicht möglich

Cons:

Wir erreichten das Hotel spät nachts um 1 Uhr. Uns wurde vorab ein Schlüsselcode zugesandt. Dieser funktionierte trotz mehrmaligem Versuch nicht. Die Türe des Hotels stand offen, drin fanden wir dann einen Schlüssel, der aber offensichtlich nicht zu unserem gebuchten Zimmer gehörte, da wir dort ein benutztes Bett und ungereinigtes Bett vorfanden. Nach über einer halben Stunde kam nun jemand aus dem Nachbarhaus, wahrscheinlich der Inhaber, der uns sehr unfreundlich als erstes darauf hingewiesen hat, dass der Hund nicht mit ins Zimmer darf. Nachdem er uns dann mehrfach zu erklären versuchte das der Schlüsseltresor einwandfrei funktioniert und wir wahrscheinlich den falschen Code eingegeben haben ( es war mittlerweile 2 Uhr Nachts) haben wir es vorgezogen uns eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen. Unfreundliches und unprofessionelles Verhalten werden wir auch Nachts nicht unterstützen. Einmal und nie mehr

Very pleasant and relaxt stay!
Pros:

Very friendly & thoughtful owners, gave good advise on things to do (hikes, places to visit) and were well prepared for having small children (coloring pages & pencils, high chair and bib).

Cons:

The living area is not always open (which makes sense giving the size of the hotel) but this was a bit difficult for us as our toddler still sleeps in the early afternoon. Next time we will book a larger room.
