Borkum Island is partially car free.

Please note that the schedule for Borkum’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides.

The travel time from Emden Ferry Port to Borkum Island is approximately 130 minutes, including a ride on the Island’s Inselbahn (train). Guests can leave their cars at Emden Ferry Port, which has a large car park.

It is important to let the hotel know what time you intend to arrive. Contact details of the hotel are included in your confirmation email.

Please note that the spa tax can only be paid in cash upon departure.

Ingesamt hat es und gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne noch mal wieder.
Pros:

Sehr netter und guter Service. Gute Lage zum Strand und sehr gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Tiefe Badewanne im Badezimmer, wo man einsteigen musste zum Duschen....Unsere Freunde hatten tolle modere Duschen. Unsere Freunde hatten Zimmer in der 4. Etage. Meine Freundin und ich in der 1.Etage.

Ein erholsamer Aufenthalt mit Vorfreude auf ein Wiederkommen.
Pros:

Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und komfortabel. Sehr ruhig.
Viel Platz im Badezimmer.
Frühstück und Essen abends wirklich perfekt.
Lage optimal.

Cons:

Nicht so gut war, dass das Kopfteil vom Bett nicht verstellbar ist.
Das Waschbecken ist für größere Menschen zu niedrig.
Duschen in der Badewanne ist nicht so komfortabel (Sturzrisiko mangels Möglichkeiten zum Festhalten).

Hotel zum Wohlfühlen
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach traumhaft... schnell am Meer und direkt im Herzen Borkums.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war einfach mega... für jeden ist etwas dabei. Von Herzhaft bis Süß, von Brötchen bis Müsli, von Käse bis Marmelade, von Wasser über Säfte bis hin zum Prosecco. Super freundliche MitarbeiterInnen. Sauberkeit und Ausstattung sind ohne Makel. Die Betten sind einfach sehr gemütlich. Überall tolle nautische Dekorationen.
Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Cons:

Ich persönlich mag keinen Teppich im Zimmer, aber das ist auch schon das einzige, was ich bemängel

Cons:

Die Duschen sind nicht barrierefrei und somit für meine Mutter nicht einfach zu benutzen! Aber das ist baulich halt so vorgegeben und wohl nicht mehr zu ändern!
