We were informed that our stay at the hotel in Heiligenhaus -Dream inn had to be cancelled due to a water problem. We were offered a transfer to an alternative "hotel" Hostel Apartment Monteurzimmer Solingen. Please note that the photos of the rooms in the operator's presentation do not correspond to the "room" where we were accommodated. The door had obviously been kicked in in the past and could not be securely sewn shut. The bed was just a short makeshift extra bed. Zero room amenities (only chairs, a small table, a cupboard, no curtains or drapes). Zero soundproofing of the surrounding rooms, crazy hotel guests (noise, even at night). Shared toilets and bathroom. A truly appalling experience!!! And I am really not a demanding guest at all.

Pros:

Die Lage ist gut und es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze am Strassenrand. Saubere und ausreichende Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Das Hotel hat auf meinen Wunsch, die Heizung aufgedreht.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat unglaublich Potenzial, aber es ist noch nicht ausgeschöpft. Eine Minibar, die unglaublich laut war und nicht austöpselbar ist. Ein TV, welches nicht funktioniert. Gardinen, die nur das halbe Fenster abdecken, die Innlets der Bettwäsche war nicht nur verdreckt, teilweise war getrocknetes Blut dran. Das Safe funktioniert nicht. Als ich die badezimmer Türe öffnete, begrüßte mich ein riesiger Papierfisch und es wurden immer mehr zum Abend. Die Sanitäranlagen sind aufgrund ihres Alters nicht mehr auf den Neuzustand zurückzubringen. Die Fenster sind undicht und es war sehr kalt im Zimmer, trotz eingeschalteter Heizung. Ich bin in Zimmer 14 untergekommen.

Wie in anderen Bewertungen erwähnt, gibt es keine Reaktion auf Nachrichten an die Hotelbetreiber. Aufgrund anderer Bewertungen, hatte ich mein eigenes Toilettenpapier dabei, jedoch war ausreichend vorhanden.

Kleiner Hinweis an zukünftige Gäste: Der Türknauf muss am Hoteleingang nach Pineingabe nach links gedreht werden, um diese zu öffnen.
