Hacienda-like hotel w actually reasonable prices. Space/location was great, building was beautifully decorated, room was comfortable, food was delish, staff was exceptional and our 7 y/o loved to spend time w the animals outside.

Die Gastfreundschaft der Familie ist wirklich toll. Sie sind super aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war außerdem auch super, besonders das Frühstück. Sie bieten außerdem eine Tagestour an, um den Nationalpark zu besichtigen, die wir auch sehr empfehlen kann.

Nous avons adoré nos 3 jours au rondador. Nous avons apprécié l’accueil et la gentillesse des hôtes. Nous avons également visité le parc avec un tour proposé par l’hostel : génial de A à Z : nous recommandons ce lieu à 100%

Nous avons aimé l'ambiance, la déco, la vue sur le Cotopaxi, les repas vraiment excellents et très copieux. Propre, eau chaude à la douche, lits confortables, petit chauffage d'appoint.
Le bruit de la route surtout le matin. La douche à l'extérieur de la chambre est vraiment petite et ne permet pas d'accrocher toutes ses affaires, ce qui peut poser des problèmes d'intimité.
Le personnel est adorable . La chambre quadruple simple mais suffisante pour 1 nuit .
L hotel possède des animaux derrière. Il faut y aller faire un tour.

We had a great stay with a family feel, with Fernando and his family. The Lodge are close to the Cotopaxi entry and a great wiew. Fine breakfast and dinner.

Ideale ligging om Cotopaxi nationaal park te bezoeken. Gepersonaliseerde tours mogelijk vanuit de accomodatie. Zeer behulpzaam personeel voor o. a. vervoer van en naar het verblijf. Mooie verse bloemen overal in de accomodatie en het eten in het bijhorende restaurant was heerlijk.
Restaurant leek soms wat onderbemand, maar nog steeds een aanrader om hier te eten.

Fernando est d’une gentillesse incroyable et la cuisine y est vraiment très bonne.
Le petit déjeuner est très bon.
Grace à Fernando nous avons pu réserver directement avec eu les activités au Cotopaxi.

The property is ok
I booked through the hotel a trip to leave me in the entrance to do the trekking to go to Cotopaxi. We agreed that it would cost $30 for the way there and to come back (no guide). At the end, they charged me $30 to go and $20 to come back ($50 dollars for a round trip that takes 20 minutes). I think this price was excessive (cost more than a similar taxi trip in Europe!) and was not communicated well to me. I would definitely not recommend booking any activities or cabs through them
A great place, room with comfy beds.
Inside is a great restaurant for your evening, open all day. Included breakfast was really nice. You can get drinks etc during the day. Easy to get to, on the way to Parque de Cotopaxi. There is also a farm with animals including 2 llamas. And the most important; the staff was so friendly and nice and attentive. An absolute gem!

Perfect location to visit Cotopaxi. The staff is super nice. Fernando was a great great host. He makes you feel at home. Food is really tasty. Breakfast was the best we had in Ecuador. Our kids played at the little farm at the property. Fernando gave them carrots so they could feed the animals. Rooms had heaters which was convenient because it was cold. Shower was hot. Dinner room oversees the Vulcans with spectacular views.
The facilities are basic and the rooms are quite small and a bit cold. One of our rooms had multiple rugs which made us doubt of how clean they were. The property has numerous animals which were very friendly to guests but in the morning the entrance of the hotel/restaurant had dog poo (which was removed later) but not super nice to leave with the kids and face it first thing.
the decor, the flowers on each table or bathroom and even in our doors. I'll stop here but could continue on any detail in the place and hosting staff
