I like the view of the waterfall from the hotel.
Lots of beautiful art, very clean and in a tranquil location. The bed was very comfortable.
Nice property with spacious bedrooms. Breakfast was good and there were no options to eat. Location was very good, not too noisy but still walking distance from nightlife at the central square.

Bed is so comfortable to sink into after a long day of exploring Banos. Beautiful views of the waterfall from balconies. Big breakfast spread in the morning. Staff were very sweet and helpful.
Didn’t bother me, but if you’re a light sleeper - the walls are bit thin so you can hear people in the halls.

Aw, I'm so disappointed about this stay! I was so excited to stay here in Banos. The art and decor here is beautiful, but everything else about our experience left me disappointed. For the price, I recommend you book elsewhere!
Unfortunately, the hotel overbooked, so the room we had originally requested was not available. We were given a very small room with windows that looked directly into another hotel room, and our bathroom window opened to the hotel hallway. There was zero sound proofing in the room, and it was incredibly noisy at night. I could hear people talking and walking on the floors above and below me. One night, I couldn't sleep and I had to get up twice to ask the front desk for quiet. There were automatic lights outside the room that shined directly into the bedroom at night. After repeatedly asking for a change, we were moved to another hotel (same owner) for our final two nights. We weren't offered a refund or any compensation for the inconvenience.
Also, don't bother visiting the spa Mirmelindo. We traveled 30 minutes there for a relaxing spa afternoon, and it turned out to be a regular hotel pool with a small jacuzzi and a malfunctioning sauna. The day we went, there were 12 kids running, splashing, and yelling in the spa area. No massages or spa treatments were available. I have no problem with the kids enjoying the pool, but this is not a "spa" by any means. I wish they didn't advertise it as such.
