Lovely staff but disappointing for the price.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful but at reception, the receptionist wasn't immediately helpful, she warmed up once we talked more. Maybe the issue was my lack of language skills.

Cons:

The room was dark and I felt over priced for what it was. Perhaps the area is more expensive than other places nearby but my night in the Hotel Duran, Figueres was like night and day in comparison. The garage had a steep curb and a step, which as a not particularly confident motorcyclist was challenging and I nearly dropped the bike on the way in. Of course is it also important to negotiate the steps on the way out and they lead directly into an immediate turn and a junction. I was surprised to have to pay extra for a very mediocre breakfast, albeit with nice coffee and a reasonably location and dining space.

Pros:

Hotel sencillo, de "toda la vida" sin grandes lujos pero lo suficiente para estar muy cómodo y dormir bien. Muy bien situado al lado de la plaza mayor.
Excelente la limpieza en la habitación y extraordinario el comfort de las camas. Fuimos en una fecha de mucho frío, pero en el hotel y en la habitación estuvimos super calientes y a gusto con la temperatura.
El personal del hotel agradable y correcto.
