Estancia en Castillo Arteaga
Pros:

La ubicación excelente, cerca de las playas y los lugares de interés para visitar. El entorno muy tranquilo.

Cons:

Las habitaciones de los torreones secundarios, al menos la del primer piso, bastante oscura. Cuando pases dos días desayunar lo mismo pasa, pero si estas 4 TODOS los días igual sin ninguna posibilidad de variación acaba con las ganas de desayunar.

Ideal for a romantic stay
Pros:

Historic building: a castle and you can stay in the turrets (book the private terrace, it’s only 20€ more). Great staff (we had a problem with our room, the shower flooded, but Noemie on reception handled it like a pro and was super nice). Everything very clean. Restaurant for a fancy dinner and the food was delicious, but surprisingly not too expensive. Breakfast was included and it was excellent.

Cons:

A bit isolated - you have to drive to go anywhere else and there isn’t really anywhere to have a walk onsite.

Sublieme ervaring van begin tot einde! Echte aanrader voor wie Bilbao en Urdaibai wil bezoeken
Pros:

Locatie, gebouw en torenkamer!!
En zeer lekker gedineerd ‘s avonds!

Cons:

Gevaarlijke trap naar torenterras, de zonsverduistering maakt het wat ingewikkeld om buiten/binnen te geraken

It’s nice but it’s a machine. No frills.
Pros:

Nice Castle.

Cons:

Don’t expect the staff to do anything special for you beyond the basics.. For example, my baby slept between 2-4pm and I asked them to service the room at reception but apparently that was not possible after 3.30. Not sure why they didn’t do it in the morning. To be fair this is a Spanish attitude more than a property specific complaint.

Super, luxueus, we hebben van het eerste tot het laatste moment genoten!
Pros:

Dit kasteel is een ideale verblijfplaats om te genieten van zowel het hotel en haar vele faciliteiten als de omgeving. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om Baskenland te verkennen.

Cons:

Jammer was dat het restaurant op zondagavond gesloten is en het kleine dorp Arteaga geen restaurants heeft.
