An atmospheric chateau in this pretty town. Really enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

Lovely to stay in such an historic building. A really quiet location with secure storage for our bikes. Warm and comfortable bedroom.

Pros:

L'ameublement et décoration de l'hôtel. Chambre soignée, propre. Nuit silencieuse. Accueil sympa.

Cons:

Rien de méchant.. Le Manque de quelques produits du terroir au petit déj. Exemple : Beurre salé ainsi que du fromage.

It's an enchanting chateau with real history

Cons:

As soon as money was collected for bedrooms hotel then informed us the restaurant was closed due to lack of chef. Suspicious they didn't inform when we still had option to cancel.

Bedroom lovely but problems with toilet during the night

Breakfast was poor...table not.laid, no teapots , coffee machine had broken down.

Lovely old building but in desperate need of update, in particular the lighting which is minimal especially in the entrance and the bedroom.

Cons:

Hotel facilities not available because it was off season, although there is no mention of that on their web site or Booking.com. I phoned the hotel several time to get direction but only got an answer machine. Nobody at the hotel when i arrived. Eventually found a small handwritten note with a phone number to ring, the Receptionist turned up to give me the key to my room. I was the only person in the building that night, no staff.

Amazing stay, lovely unique hotel. Would happily go back if we were back in the area
Pros:

Nothing not to like. Old chateau in the middle of town, lovely big room, comfortable bed.

Cons:

Staff didn’t speak any English which could make it tricky if you don’t have any French in you

Hotel lost our reservation!
Pros:

Impressive looking castle

Cons:

Despite us having a confirmed prepaid reservation on booking.com, the manager insisted we were a day late and there was no space for us. When we showed him the reservation he grudgingly conceded we were right but blamed "the system" and did not apologise, and said we would have to apply to booking.com for a refund. Eventually he did help us book alternative accommodation nearby at his cost and refunded us the difference. And gave us beers on the house which cheered us up a bit! But really there's no excuse for such a basic error with modern booking systems.

Planche de WC qui ne tient pas , bouchon de la ou des personnes resté sur le bord de la baignoire et collant .
