Chambre correcte mais vieillissante, coccinelles présentes dans la chambre (apparemment c'était normal) et une punaise sous le lit , une porte dérochée

Voyageant en moto, j'avais expressément demandé à pouvoir manger sur place pour éviter de devoir reprendre la moto. La réponse de l'hôtel à été "ok pour la chambre et pour le repas nous verrons sur place". J'ai demandé ce que cela voulait dire exactement et je n'ai pas eu de réponse. A tord je me suis dit, allez ça va le faire...
Dès mon arrivée, on m'informe que le restaurant n'est pas ouvert pour cause de manque de personnel.
J'imagine que ce problème était déjà connu lors de ma demande initiale une semaine avant et que si je l'avais su, je n'aurais pas réservé cet hôtel.
De plus, en revenant le soir vers 21h30, impossible de boire un dernier verre car il n'y a plus de personnel sur place...

Gedateerde kamers, muf, afwerking niet fraai. Water was vreemd van kleur in bad (wel fijn dat er een bad was), maar ook de kitranden behoeven aandacht.

Le ménage de la chambre à revoir : poussière et toiles d’araignées. Un nettoyage en profondeur et quelques travaux de rafraîchissement seraient nécessaires.

Zelo zanemarjeno. Iz pipe je dolgo tekla rjava voda. Polomljen del pipe. V kadi nehigienična plastika. Plesnoba na stropu kopalnice. Da je pohištvo staro ne moti, moti pa zanemarjenost.

The property lacks a bit of maintenance in some areas. Rooms are rather clean but a deeper cleaning would be surely necessary.

Place wasn’t heated in spite of the cold. Personally I didn’t mind but I’m sure many travellers would.
Restaurant a bit over-priced for quality of food served.

There was no river, so paying for a "riverside room" was absurd. During dinner, we were asked to move to a different room, because a couple had just arrived who had booked "the good room" for two nights and we had only booked it for one night. We went to the reception (during dinner) and were told it was a mistake, so a lot of fuzz for nothing and dinner pretty much ruined. Not that the food was very tasty to begin with. The staff at dinner was pretty unfriendly and only addressed my partner (m) as I (f) was basically ignored. We paid extra for a room with a bath, but didn't even dare to take a bath, let alone drink from the water out of the tap: it was brown and smelled awful. The blinds didn't close, the room was a bit stale.

The only issue was that in our room, the toilet was close to the door, so you had to sort you sat sideways if you were a bit tall. That being said, the overall room was fantastic, and it's an old building, so I didn't really mind all that much.

The only concern was the accomodation itself. The room was pretty outdated and the water smelled of rust that we could not drink from the tap. Otherwise the area was beautiful. Perhaps if they renovate the rooms and fix the water issue we would stay again.
