Worth taking a de-tour for! Amazing value for money.
Pros:

The rooms are a great size, very clean and modern. I stayed here when driving from London to Italy as it was a good half way point. 6 months later when driving back to London, I deliberately planned my route to include a stay here again as it was that good. Really a treat to break up a long two day journey. The grounds are lovely, food is great, staff are friendly, it felt really safe (and I had a lot of valuables in my car) and the restaurant is very high quality. All in, amazing value for money.

Cons:

The restaurant is sooooo good. Amazing food. Don't miss dinner - it's excellent.

This is a regular stop-over for us. Always friendly and warm stay.
Pros:

Room was good. Restaurant was excellent. Staff were very helpful.

Cons:

There is no lift to the first floor.
