Important information:

The Hôtel de France – Le Patriarche occupies an 18th-century building listed as a historical monument. The building has three floors and no elevator. Therefore, it is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Please note: self check-in only; the hotel does not have a reception desk.

The hotel offers 14 renovated rooms in a simple and comfortable style. All rooms have a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV, a kettle, and Wi-Fi. Room service is provided twice a week.
Paid parking is available. Street parking is also possible (blue zone, parking disc required).
The Le Patriarche restaurant is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Lunch is served from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Please note: no breakfast or lunch service is provided on weekends. Several cafes and brunch spots are nearby.

The hotel is 500 meters from the Swiss border. Geneva Airport is a 5-minute drive away.
A deposit may be required at the property.

No key was left on the first day to let me into the room, even though those were the instructions. Huge inconvenience. There was no hot water first day too. The room was cold, and the small space heater was too noisy.

Perfect location for Geneva and airport commute - a nice place and all worked very well
Pros:

Arrival was easy, and the hotel allowed for an early check in adapting to my flight. Old beautiful building, very nice centre of Ferney, close to delicious patisserie... all was clean and tidy and worked perfectly well, could feel rooms were quite new and well reformed. There was no elevator, only stairs (only three floors). From mine in the 3rd there was a distant but beautiful view of Mont Blanc.

Cons:

I was not able to enjoy the restaurant nor do breakfast due to meetings schedule :(

Charming hotel
Pros:

Lovely hotel, great size room and fab shower! There are no staff to great you, everything is online but we were able to request a late check out by messaging the customer service team online.

Cons:

No lift and we were on the top floor. Wasn’t a major issue though.

Pros:

A convenient stay close to Geneva airport, in a small pleasant town. There were no staff at check in but the communication, entry and key pick up was very easy. Tea and coffee in the room. Free parking directly across from the hotel.

Cons:

Could have had a little refresh.

Nice stay nearby Geneve
Pros:

The hotel is located nearby the border, easy connection with bus 66 and 60 to Palexpo and Geneve city center. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is a nice restaurant belongs to the hotel.

Cons:

There is no elevator so if you have a heavy luggage, it is a little bit difficult to go the upper floors.

Pros:

Muy bien todo salvo el último día en el que nos íbamos, no había personal y en el tlf de urgencias no respondía nadie. Las habitaciones se bloquearon y no podíamos entrar a recoger las maletas. Fuimos a preguntar a la panadería cercana y allí pudieron contactar con el hotel. Es recomendable que siempre conteste alguien en los tlfs de urgencia.

Pros:

La chambre est grande et confortable. Elle était propre. Les questions posées via booking.com obtiennent une réponse rapide.

Cons:

Le parking était assez étroit. Il était difficile de s’extirper de la voiture.
