Comfortable and excellent location
Pros:

Location and proximity to the station and shops and cafes

Cons:

I was on the ground floor and guests walking on the floor above was causing a sound disturbing sleep at night. Also since the rooms are too close to each other, guests entering late at night and unlocking doors caused disturbance.

We booked for 2 and ended up staying just the 1. Would not recommend.
Pros:

The free access to the wellness spa.

Cons:

Room had dirty cups on arrival, couldn’t get into the property when we first arrived as the key fob wouldn’t work. When my partner phoned to ask he was told to “p**s off im trying to speak to someone” then I rang and someone come out to fix the door.

Comfortable Central location with easy access to all routes
Pros:

Central location directly facing Windermere Station with bus links to the rest of the lakes. Across the road to left is the trail to Orrest Head. Also directly on high street so a short walk to shops / cafes.

Room was excellent, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds to relax in with lots of room for 3 of us.

The host communicated excellently and instructions for access very clear.

Cons:

Maybe a small fridge for keeping water cold for hikes but not the end of the world as many places have beautifully fresh drinking water

Parking locally can be tricky but public transport is excellent

Cons:

Facilities are mentioned. Not in the same building (pool, sauna& gym) far from property pool timings for kids not fair.it was previously not mentioned .
