Great hospitality and a comfortable stay
Pros:

Nice country hotel. Staff excellent, nice lounge bar and restaurant, good selection of good on offer and the food is excellent. Breakfast which was included was great and a wide range of options available.

Great service, friendly staff, and value for money
Pros:

The owners and staff were excellent. They could not have been any better. We were visiting my sick Mum, and we were coming and going at all hours, but nothing was too much trouble for them. Even when my Mum passed away, they arranged a funeral tea for us. The food at the restaurant was really good and value for money.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay with great food and hospitality
Pros:

Friendly and homely. Excellent food and good service. Comfortable.

Cons:

Comfortable room albeit compact. Partner felt not best wine selection, fan in room noisy (although did go off) and also may need a clean. Otherwise enjoyable enough.

The hotel was very nice, homely and welcoming with great food.
Pros:

We were made very welcome on our arrival, the room was lovely and the food was excellent. We were travelling by bicycle and the staff gave us secure storage for the bikes within the hotel.

Great Place, Great Staff, Great Hotel.
Pros:

My wife and I travelled up from Edinburgh for a wedding. I phone them and told them that I was running late, and asked them when they stopped serving evening meals, was informed that they stopped serving at 2100hrs, but told me that if it was slightly later they would accommodate us.

The Staff, from the waitress and the bar staff couldn't do enough for us. Loads of helpful information.

Breakfast was nice and plentiful, all freshly cooked.

On the day of departure, we needed an early breakfast at 0700hrs, which they also accommodated.

We hopefully will return.
