Great hotel
Pros:

This hotel is in a great location, short walk down to the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly, they also serve a tasty breakfast included in the room rate.
There is a bus stop close by if you want to explore further afield.

Great overnight stay on Cleveland Way
Pros:

Convenient overnight accommodation whilst walking the Cleveland Way. Evening and breakfast food was excellent. Our room was comfortable, if small, but we knew it was 'budget' accommodation!

Cons:

Apart from space in the room, all good.

The hotel needs to work on their customer interaction and welcome.

The welcome wasn’t at all friendly, not what you expect on arrival at any hotel or b+b.
The rooms were clean, but the bathroom was shockingly tiny.

Nice accommodation, great food and relaxing atmosphere.
Pros:

Loverly pub that was an advantage. Car park across the road that was a bonus.

Cons:

It was one of the highest points to walk back from the bay. But this should not be any reflection on how good the stay was.

A bath (great after walking the Cleveland Way) and an exceptional breakfast, waitress and buffet service combined. The full English and the eggs with smoked salmon were both beautifully cooked.

Pros:

Friendly staff, big, clean bedroom and bathroom and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Also appreciate that when we arrived, staff explained that there was a live band that evening, but they would finish at 8.30 p.m. - and they did! Surprisingly quiet location and venue.

Cons:

Dinner....veg lasagna didn't have any pasta and the garlic bread was devoid of garlic
The extractor fans in the kitchen(I am guessing that's what the noise was, from experience) were on all night so any chance of sleep was minimal. I wasn't the only person to mention this at breakfast. Not happy - a three hour car journey and a meeting on no sleep is not good.

Nice hotel, would recommend, good value for money.
Pros:

Very good location, wonderful staff, had a nice one-night-stay there. Breakfast was good, one could choose between quiet some things and there were glutenfree options as well. A public parking is close by, and as we arrived past 6pm and left before 9pm we didn't have to pay.
