Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was very busy when I stayed, however you were not kept waiting long to be attended to.
Nothing seemed too much trouble for them, excellent professional service.

Excellent property and definitely recommend!
Pros:

Great location and property to end our Coast to Coast walk. Management took the time to phone 6 or 7 taxi drivers to arrange our transportation from the hotel to the Whitby train station. Excellent customer service!!!

Pros:

Ryan behind the bar was particularly helpful . The Monday Curry was delicious. The room was hot. We still enjoyed our stay on completing the Coast to Coast.

Cons:

Ventilation was not quite enough for the extra high temperatures.

No sleep until loud drinkers left after 1am !

I stayed on a Monday night £100 for 1 person in an ok room.
The shower was substandard.
The room as it turns out was above the bar and there was no chance of any sleep until well past 1am when the last very loud drinkers left.
I think this is unacceptable.
A poor response by the manager Amber who actually advised me not to book a budget room in future !!

Pros:

The hotel was recently and nicely refurbished, so rooms were fresh and tastefully decorated. The rooms were a good size and well fitted with tea, coffee, shampoo etc .Rooms were clean and beds comfy.

Cons:

Nothing!
We were there on a music night, which we could hear from our room, but it didn't go on late and we had been told of it in advance.

Nice hotel.
Pros:

Location great,food lovely. Breakfast superb. Staff pleasant.

Cons:

Shower door in room 6 big gap under shower door, water all on the floor. Shelf at the side of the bed loose. Noisy taps, could hear everybody's. And could hear customers in the bar.
