Dinner in the pub was excellent, breakfast also very good.
Location at the top of hill is convenient. Steps from the bus stop. 2 min walk to the old village. Stayed as a solo female, very safe.

Great value and great food
Pros:

Fantastic breakfast and lovely meal in the restaurant. Good size portions and good quality. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Would have given it full marks but for the noise the pipes made every time the water was running. Also, the thermostat on the radiator was a bit dodgy. It was either scorching hot or nothing at all. Even with these couple of things the experience was lovely

Pros:

Great location, no fuss check in and out, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is really good, best bacon I've had in a b&b and good portion size to set up for the day slogging up and down the hill! Parking in nearby car park is easy and free until March 1st
Beds comfy, windows open easily and hotel is lovely and quiet, even when busy in the bar. We enjoy staying here and it's one of the only places in RHB with rooms for a family and is great value

Cons:

Could do with a bit more lighting in family room as it's a big room, just, a standard lamp near the sofa or something and light above sink in bathroom
