The hotel and room were spotless. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The location was fantastic in beautiful Robin Hoods Bay. Public transport is just around the corner to Whitby and Scarborough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be coming back to visit.
There was nothing to dislike.
Well positioned , easy access, easy going atmosphere. Clean and helpful staff
The noisy night on the Tuesday!!
It was ideal position for us and offered us everything we needed.
No chair in the room. The pub was vert busy most days due to the Easter holiday and regulars which was great to see but left no where to sit on a cold day to read a book etc.
Great location and good pub.
Room 10 was a great size.
It was easy to park across the street.
The double bed in room 10 was so uncomfy I could not sleep. The matress was so old that the springs had gone and it was like sleeping in a hammock (left hand side from the foot of the bed)
The lady who served us breakfast (slim lady with grey pony tail) seemed very stressed as if anything asked was just too much. I asked for a full English with no egg, and asked if I could have an extra sausage in place of the egg. This was just too much trouble. To make it worse, my two children also don't like eggs so asked for the same as me. As soon as the lady too our order she RAN off very flustered, my wife did not get to order her mushrooms on toast; she was brought a full English with no egg and an extra sausage. Laster I asked for some more coffee and this seemed like a huge deal also, but it was delivered.
The location was great, food excellent, comfortable and very clean room.
