Restaurant looked great tho I didn’t eat as I was travelling all day. Room was pleasant enough but alittle dated. Which made the cleanliness less appealing due to the age of the deco. But overall good value and comfortable enough for a single night.
Pleasant enough.
Excellent location. Clean room and bathroom. Plenty of tea, coffee and the orange juice and porridge pots were a nice surprise. Clear details for getting in and out of the property.
Bedlinen was a bit tired with pulled threads and the duvet was very thin. It was a cold night and the room was very cold overnight even with the radiator turned up high and there were no extra blankets to put on the bed.
We've stayed here twice now.

A little too slow re food service, room was a little cold but comfortable and understandable
Very central location and very handy having the restaurant downstairs. Good sized room and bathroom. All the facilities you'd expect. Good sound proofing from the restaurant and other guests but traffic noise as you'd expect in a town centre.
Let down mainly by the communication. No response to queries about the difference between the cancellation details on the booking page compared to the confirmation email. Being asked by the cleaner if we were staying another night the morning after the first of our three night stay. Personally would have preferred fewer air freshners and less scent on the bedding.

it was close to the workplace
mattress seen better days, it was the most uncofortable night in really long time, room has been freezing cold, I had to wear everything from my suitcase to get warm, dirty windows, dust on the headboard, heating switched off in the middle of the night again so in the morning was freezing cold again

The only problem we had was with the bathroom basin tap.
It was very stiff to turn in either direction
Expensive but excellent quality. Not told it was extra.Food at event hosted in house absolutely fabulous shame I couldn’t do it all justice. Everyone at event thought food and service exceptional. Food really was delicious and no skimping on guantity18 people 5 courses 3 different dishes on one beautiful presented plate each course delicious.
Nothing as far as restaurant lovely atmosphere and very comfortable furniture and ambience. Room could have been a bit cleaner but bed comfy and staff good.
