Breakfast very good dinner very good and the room was also good. The staff were very friendly and Tamsin excellent front of house. Good location and hope to go back and stay at tremarne again
We couldn’t fault anything at the hotel.
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here! From the moment when I arrived, Tam was super nice, accommodating, and helped with ordering the breakfast for the following morning. The lovely lady during breakfast (who I sadly can't remember the name :[ ) was so kind! The food was amazinggg. The view was superb from the breakfast room. The facilities were clean. The close proximity to lovely Meva was ideal too!
Having to check out. Next time, I'll stay for longer!
Great location, room had sea view. Evening meal was exceptional. Great breakfast selection.
Faultless
Could not fault this hotel. Excellent service. The room was clean and with a lovely chocolate treat for us on the bed. Food was very good and very tasty. Would recommend this hotel 100%.
The room was lovely and clean, with a great view. The food was wonderful, both dinner and breakfast. And the owner managers couldn't have been more cheery and helpful.
Everything was great.
Great high location within a steep walk down to the town. The car park had plenty of easy parking available and located close to the reception. Stunning views across the valley. Online check in was available and a very friendly welcome with a short tour of the facilities. The whole place was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was individually cooked and of high quality with vegetarian options. The dining/breakfast room had fabulous views too.
There was obvious attention to detail in areas.
Be prepared to navigate the car through Mevagissey which is very narrow. I tried an alternative route out but road closures meant I eventually drove back through the town. But that’s the charm of Cornwall!
From the moment we arrived we were blown away. I don’t know where to start on what’s great about this hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, the hosts had upgraded the room we booked to one with wonderful views. Little extras like water and treats left in
the room and a cream tea on
arrival. The lounge area is bright and welcoming and the bar area is snug and comfortable. The hosts were always available and attentive and the food, wow, we decided to stay in for an evening meal and what a great decision that was ! Breakfast was just as good and plentiful. We only booked one night for a Mother’s Day getaway but wished we had booked longer. Will definitely return and would recommend to anyone
There was nothing we didn’t like bar having to checkout and go home
An extremely well maintained and decorated seaside hotel, with thoughtful touches like cream tea when we arrived and chocolates in the bedroom.
There's a nice walk through a park to Mevagissey and a shorter one to the pub in the bay at Portmellon.
Superb and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and lovely complimentary cream tea.
The Tremaine Hotel was fabulous.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel really at home.
The food was exceptional and good value for money.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and a delight to stay in.
Nil
Spotlessly clean , lovely location
Nothing
Excellent choice of breakfast and very good quality produce cooked to perfection.
The food was good
Set in between mevagiseey and Portmellon overlooking the harbour the hotels sights were beautiful over the coast. There was an excellent breakfast and we enjoyed the added perk of a cream tea on arrival.
Unfortunately the heating in and around the reception area was too high and the Air fresheners in the hallway near room 14 were far too strong. Also the hot tap in the bathroom didn’t work or took far too long to work and we found the bed blanket too hot at night. When we asked for walking directions to The Lost gardens of Heligan we were given a very difficult route which was on narrow lanes and took far longer than other more suitable routes nearby.. We double checked with a local landlord and they were shocked by the route suggestion given to us by the hotel staff. So we decided to go a different way with less stress. Finally we thought the heavy emphasis on boxing in the hotel bar including many pictures of Muhammad Ali in violent action and a signed glove was distasteful and put us off staying in the room for too long..
Absolutely perfect for us for a few days away pool beautiful weather staff wonderful complimentary cream tea lovely touch also delicious
