A Cornish gem
Pros:

Well, where to begin?
From the moment I arrived I was made to feel so welcome. Tam welcomed me and asked if I wanted my complimentary cream tea! I didn't realise I could get one! My room was perfect, a double bed, ensuite bathroom and a sea view.
I had pre booked the evening meal and wasn't disappointed. Who needs to go into the village for a meal when you have Wes making such delicious dishes? Complimented by wonderful wine or a decent selection of beers and spirits from the hotel bar, nothing could top this perfect start to my trip.
But hold on, it could! What a breakfast! A great choice from the breakfast menu of cereals, breads, frtuit, yoghurt and freshly cooked hot food. None of this overdried stuff sitting on a hotplate you get at big hotels, this was cooked to order and just right.
The hotel is perfect for exploring Mevagissey, just a few minutes walk away, the long and winding coast paths that run nearby or for venturing further afield to Heligan, the Eden Project or other coastal villages such as Fowey or Charlestown. After a long hard day exploring all this, feel free to sit on the sunsoaked terrace and enjoy a cool drink, or have a dip in the pool and stretch out on the sun loungers. Then in the evening either stay for the evening meal (have to point out that the main menus are only served Friday to Monday with a snack menu on the other days) or take a trip into the village and try a place there.
And it is SO quiet!! The hotel is in a very quiet location, no traffic noise, just the sound of the distant waves and cries of the seagulls. On warm nights, sleep with your windows open, you will not be disturbed.
Oh, and I have to say, Tam and Wes are THE perfect hosts! Nothing was a problem for them and were happy to help you no matter what time of the day.
Just a wonderful, wonderful place to stay.
Already thinking about next year and booking again!

Cons:

Nothing to mention, was just a wonderful place.
