Nothing
This hotel is in a excellent location. Short stroll to the beach, promenade and the town. The manager was friendly and helpful, as was the night porter. Yes the room was outdated decorating wise but the main thing was it was clean luckily i had thick curtains so no issue with sunlight coming through. Signal for wi fi was great.I had single room 208 but the bed could of passed as a small double which was a bonus. Overall great hotel for the price.
The price and location
Visited via deal from Just Go. On route several customers had cancelled.
On arrival changeover from those leaving a bit lengthy but understandable.
Room 221 on second floor, dreary outlook
Into back gardens.
Room itself buzzing to the noise of the kitchen extractor which after a while produced a sore head for myself and the wife.
Went down to reception saw receptionist at 16.45. "nothing can be done and no more rooms available as alternative",
did not seem too interested.
Yes cheap but really less than impressed.
Too late on a Sunday to talk to Just Go today.
We had a lovely 4 day break at the Waverley,Oman the manager was very nice and helpful, our room 207 had everything we needed, couldn’t fault the hotel and all the staff,Brandon at the bar,all the lovely dining room staff, smiling and cheery, even the sunshine came out one day, must say a big Thankyou to Just Go coach holidays, very impressed, drivers and staff when enquiring about holidays,
Beware! Bed bugs at the Waverley Hotel again! They were reported in 2025 and are back. I was bitten this week on a three night coach trip., February 2026. I was moved to an unaffected room, hopefully the original room has been sprayed and disinfected.
The staff were very helpful and polite cleaners there each day it’s not my 1st visit and intend to visit again
Nice, cheap place to get your head down. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel so just remember that. Friendly staff. Clean room.
The kitchen was closed for the weekend so I don't know what the breakfast etc is like. I was put in a room where the bed was up against the wall, next to the lift, so it shook and was loud every now and then. Didn't even mention it to the staff, just be aware especially light sleepers.
The parking permit.
The room was tiny with awful veiw. The bed creaked if you moved. The dining room & bar looked smart but neither were open for the duration of our stay .Really disappointed definitely was not worth the £70 paid. I suggest you go & look at the rooms & adjust the price accordingly we were in room 113.
Parking is not guaranteed, the whole place needs refurbishing, the hotel (or better still) guest house is run down and has safety issues (especially the lift) Corridor smelled of urine and bleach.
We was told Breakfast unavailable for this weekend
