Pros:

Location close to station. Nice breakfast. Staff nice

Cons:

NOISE. Omg this place is so noisy. Ask for a room away from the bar. The bar itself wasnt too bad it was when it closed the staff were being so loud. Banging and barrels clattering until gone 0100 it was relentless. Then a man with a leaf blower woke us up at 9! All doors bang in tnw hotel and you can hear everything other guests are doing especially if youre close to the stairs. Weve stayed her lots of times and the best rooms are round the back away from everything. Didn't sleep well at all.

Cons:

It’s on the Main Street so streetlights but really convenient for rail and bus so it’s actually not a dislike .

Hotel is very tired & dated. Bathrooms pretty bad & hotel generally could be a lot cleaner.

Unpleasant smell in corridor outside our room.

Not good value at all.

Fabulous old hotel in the centre of Aviemore
Pros:

Excellent location. Plenty of car parking space for guests. Breakfast and evening dinner were superb. Local shops and sream railway station right opposite.

Cons:

The lounge bar in the hotel doubles up as a pub and a restaurant and can be crowded and a bit chaotic in the evenings. Fortunately, hotel guests are given a table in the private hotel wing.

My reservation said twin/duble. There are no twin rooms in this hotel. Only family rooms which mean no to identical beds, but one small and one big. Not suitable for 2 adults
