Pros:

Perfectly located, traditionally Scottish.
Breakfast was amazing.

Cons:

Noise from other rooms. We could hear people walking around above us and next to us all night. Understand it is an old building, but funnily enough, I couldn't hear anything from the bar which we thought we would.

Lost it's charm and warm atmosphere
Pros:

Only one of the staff on reception genuinely wanted to help. Location for the ski bus is good it runs 22 minutes past the hour and quarter to at resort at a cost of £5.40 return.

Cons:

Breakfast was slow and cold, room shower worked intermittently. Moved room to find an empty bottle of vodka under the bed but i suppose they did try to move me room but only for one night. Bar person wanted the main door open causing a cold draught just because he was warm, zero thought for the customers and when mentioned he just said he had to work there. £7.30 a pint "shocking". I have been to this property for over 30 years on and off, I will unfortunately not be back.

An old favourite and rghtly so!
Pros:

Our allocated room was classified as "budget" being small and over the bar. There was a very wet patch at the side of the bed soaked into the carpet. A staff member accompanied me up to check and immediately gave us the keys to the room next door. This was bigger and fresh.
Evening meal was excellent.

Cons:

A lift or offer to help with luggage would have been appreciated.
