We do not accept Group Bookings.

Would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Upgraded room which was perfect for us,location perfect...staff lovely and live music on the nights we stayed.

Cons:

Asked for early check in for 2pm as our train arrived then,which we never got...ended up not getting into our room until 3.30pm

Pros:

Very friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile and a "hello". From reception staff, bar staff, restaraunt staff and house keeping.
The only down side is that it dosnt have a lift. I would deffinetly recomend a stay here and will be going again.

Very enjoyable stay! with friendly staff Will return if the occasion arises.
Pros:

Arrived at the hotel expecting to be in a 'snug' room but found we had been upgraded! which was unexpected and gratefully accepted. The room was very comfortable with all the usual facilities, all of which worked well. Staff were very friendly and had time to chat and ask about our day. Breakfasts had various options and the waiting staff were happy to 'tweak' the cooked items to our requirements. The hotel seemed busy at meal times and they recommend booking a table if you one.

Cons:

The hotel is a listed building and is in the style of a country house hotel with stags heads and paintings of Scottish scenes on the walls. The decor is a bit tired, but this doesn't detract from the nice ambiance of the place!
There isn't a lift, so anyone with mobility issues might struggle with the stairs.

On the Main Street and can walk to local amenities within 5 minutes. We visited stayed on a Tuesday which happened to be quiz night which was a lot of fun! The staff were all so lovely and the room was spotlessly clean! Breakfast was included in our stay, there was a great choice of cooked breakfast items as well as a continental breakfast buffet. We booked a budget room and were warned that there may be some noise from the bar but the room was very quiet despite the bar being lively.

Cons:

We booked a budget room which was a little bit tired with marks on the walls etc (didn’t impact our experience though). The bed was extremely firm which is a very small complaint and is personal preference. A great stay!
