It was unusually hot, but there was a desk fan which we put on all night.

Good location.
No window in the bedroom. Had to keep a fire door open all night with an external staircase. Shower door didn’t close. Room door didn’t close on an automatic fire door mechanism. Fire lights not working on landing or bedroom and escape staircase blocked by a chair. Breakfast was the worst ever and flies all over the dining area. Sticky tables!!! Doors absolutely filthy and the whole
thing was just not great. Total lost opportunity.

The location
We had requested via 2 phone calls for our room to be moved to the first floor from the 4th. This was all agreed over the phone and confirmed verbally. When we turned up, they denied ever having spoken to us, but as my partner can not manage 4 flights of stairs we were not able to stop. They did assure us we would be able to claim our money back but then refused. We did ask if we could transfer the dates to later in the year but our emails are being firmly ignored

Breakfast was only an hour 8.30 till 9.30
But we waited over half an hour to get our food.

The location was brilliant the hotel pub and staff were lovely and friendly and we had 2 beautiful fresh breakfasts and slept so well considering the weather was hot our room had a big fan which was much appreciated , will definitely stay again
