The stay was very good but would not return due to the outside noise.
Pros:

The restaurant food was excellent, breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and room size very spacious.

Cons:

The noise outside was very loud until around 1 o’clock in the morning, very heavy traffic and people leaving the hotel bar.

You may need an air freshener if your staying but the food is decent.
Pros:

The food at the property was very good, we had two great breakfasts each morning we stayed and these were of great quality. Really good.

Cons:

Unfortunately the stay was overshadowed by an absolutely foul smell in the corridor that we had to pass to get to our room which sometimes entered the room at the doorway. When this was mentioned to a staff member the first time she informed that the smell was from the kitchens and ventilation system. Speaking to another couple who were staying they informed that they had been told that the smell was due to foul drains, blocked and backing up that the staff could not do anything about. Obviously from the continuous foul smell in the corridor this made more sense for which the other couple were given a free bottle of Prosecco as part of acknowledgment that there was a smell in the corridor. When leaving we mentioned that there had been a foul smell which had persisted all weekend but again we were witnessed from those staff at check out of them not knowing of this smell which we basically informed that no one could deny of its presence in the corridor.
Other items of note and disappointment were the damaged cracked ceiling, the stains on the room carpet and the chipped and cracked sink in the bathroom. Overall a really disappointing stay that was tolerated with at least a good breakfast.
