I stayed here for one night and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. I was a bit unsure at first because I had seen some negative reviews, but after staying here myself, I can confidently say they do not reflect my experience at all.
The place was amazing — clean, comfortable, and very well kept. Everything was tidy and prepared properly, and I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. For just £18, it was incredible value for money. You really can’t expect more at that price.
I genuinely don’t understand the bad reviews, because my stay was smooth and pleasant from start to finish. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable accommodation.
door was falling apart didn’t see one member of staff in the whole time we stayed shower was filthy carpet wasn’t even laid if was like it jad just been rolled out and cut but not to size. we were out one night came back and entered hotel room and got hit in the face with the smell of poo and there was a damp towel over the shower that neither of us had used
The door was hard to open. The walls paint was falling off. Bathroom standard bad & toilet systern too olld
It was unhygienic, I could feel the bed springs and I thought the windows was going to blow
The over all experience shit but what do you expect for 20 pound a night
This bnb should not be open to booking, its not safe nor clean very bad conditions, we paid 200 pound for 1 night here.
We couldn't even stay there we had to pay again somewhere else, it wasn't safe, plugs and wiring hanging everywhere
This was literally like. Crack den - never seen anything like it even for the extremely cheap price it was the most horrific dirty run down place I have ever seen ! Snails and rubbish on the stairs pubic hairs in the bed stains alover the bed . Dirty grime and stunk of drugs ! Couldn’t even stay there had to book somewhere else
Everything
Rooms was ok
Shower was a bit dirty
This place gets a lot of undeserved stick but is moving in the right direction and has always given me a pleasant and welcoming place to stay. Came here for a short break and was greeted warmly by the owner even though arriving quite late. We were allocated a surprisingly spacious and pleasant en-suite room. Now yes, this place is simple and spartan and yes, much of the furniture and fittings etc are rather frayed and tired, some peeling wallpaper etc. However first, things are slowly being refitted and second, things move slowly because this place works hard to put itself within reach of people who might not otherwise have a chance to enjoy a Staycation holiday in these tough times. It is moving forward, whilst deliberately not splashing out on a fat bunch of shiny new stuff that means people may not be able to afford to go there
My room had a heater in it and the owner cheerfully provided extra duvets, it was pleasant and perfectly clean. Hot shower worked fine, good Freeview TV. Friendly sitting room downstairs where drinks were kindly shared as part of a pre- New Year celebration, and other guests cheerfully shared a takeaway deal that turned out rather bigger than they expected. In the morning I was also introduced to a new breakfast area and plus TV lounge with widescreen TV and plush new sofas - this place is definitely moving upwards, though at a deliberate careful pace.
I slept well and had a nice time here, it is also superbly located for South Shore, numerous nearby pubs, off-licences and takeaways / fish & chip shops, plus the Sandcastle water park, Velvet Coaster Wetherspoon's and various other stores are all close by. Close to the main bus route to Preston by the Royal Oak pub, the Waterloo Music Bar & Blackpool South Station. Several 24H parking spaces are located nearby
Nothing, they did everything to make me comfortable here. Just important to see it (at this stage anyway) as a sort of pleasant 'indoor camping with extra benefits' (shower, TV) and embrace the good facilities in the neighbourhood. Osborne Street is one of the classy old Victorian type 3-floor house streets. Some of the shopping streets nearby look a bit tired but look and you'll see there is loads of stuff all within 5mins walk
DO NOT STAY HERE.
Only thing semi decent about this property is the location as it’s right next to the pleasure beach.
The place itself is disgusting, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned EVER!!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE.
Had to get keys from hotel next door as no staff. BLOOD stains on the bed. SNOT pieces on the side of the bed. MOULDLY curtains. DIRTY walls. STAINED and RIPPED carpet. NO HEATING and it was minus 3 degrees, was warmer outside than our room. NO SOAP I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t have hand soap or shower gel. No bath mat either and the shower pressure was a joke with it going from freezing cold to molten lava. We had booked for two nights and left after the first night, only reason we stayed the first night was because we had events booked and no time to find a hotel that night. We booked a different one for our second night.
Told the receptionist next door that we wanted a refund and she said she would pass the message on, I’ve rang booking.com customer service and they said they’ve tried to contact the property but heard nothing back, I’ve rang the property myself several times and left voicemails but heard nothing. Wish I’d taken more pictures, but I’ve attached the ones I did take.
The place is an absolute DUMP with crap management, I’m going to do a charge back through my bank if I don’t hear back from the property in the next few days I’m that fuming.
DO NOT STAY HERE

The room was damp through his mould. The light switch looked like it had been set on fire. The toilet was dirty. The shower was mouldy. The carpet was disgusting. The Bed was torn.
