Disappointing
Pros:

Location was ideal, our room was large relatively clean and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful

Cons:

The property itself had character and an ideal location but the bed and pillows in our room unfortunately were smelly and was quite off putting

Best hotel on my short trip to Scotland
Pros:

Nicely located close to the beach, town centre and football stadium. Impressive staircase worthwhile a second glance at the leadlights in the background.
Very clean room and super friendly staff that made me feel welcome.
Had dinner in the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by what was possibly the best Shepherds Pie I ever had.

A pleasant stay.
Pros:

I just can't pick a fault with the hotel, great location, comfy bed, quiet at night, staff were nice , great breakfast. Just couldn't ask for more.

Comfortable and convenient at a reasonable cost.
Pros:

Good size rooms and nice and warm. The staff were very, friendly, accommodating, pleasant, efficient. All very good at what they do. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Could do with a bit of TLC here and there.

One night stay.
Pros:

The location was ideal, we were able to check in early and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner during our stay and the food was good.

Cons:

Our room was in a different building to the main hotel.

Perfect location, super comfortable room (21), delicious breakfast, friendly staff

Cons:

The shower controls in the bathroom need a little attention. The lower knob (on/off) is a little loose.
