On the whole really good, staff are really nice.
Pros:

Great location quiet, nice room, clean.

Cons:

Needs a bit of a tidy up . Railings upstairs needs stripping and painting. Furniture in bar needs replacing.

Breites Bett

Cons:

Badewanne, keine Dusche. Keine Möglichkeit die Handbrause irgendwo anzuhängen. Keinerlei Spritzschutz an der Badewanne. Duschen somit fast unmöglich. Fön an der Wand defekt. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen, absoluter Investionsstau. Nicht zu empfehlen.

staff were lovely, room was clean everything we needed, breakfasts were really good and we enjoyed the table service on the Friday

Cons:

the only thing that I thought could be looked at was a gluten free alternative cereal provision in addition to the Kellogg boxes

No lift in the hotel so had to carry cases upstairs & along corridors.

Fantastic
Pros:

Ambience, facilities all as advertised. Unlike my current hotel. I so loved Links I wil only stay there any time I am that way. Thank you. Wished I could have stayed longer.

I booked a night there on the basis that other people had said they felt safe there.
Pros:

The room was clean, and the bed was lovely. I could work at the table provided. There were good locks on the door.

Breakfast was served from 8 am, and I had to leave by 8.20 so I was glad that it a buffet style breakfast. I asked for a take away cup for my coffee, which they provided.

Cons:

From having two locks on the door, there were no window locks. There was no way of putting the windows on vent and securing them. Anyone could have climbed in the window. The fire exit at the end of the corridor clearly does not shut - I pushed it with my finger in the morning and it swung open despite the assurances that the night porter would deal with it.

Hot water - this only appeared in the shower with the hot tap swung right over to what should be scorching. I had my shower around 6.30 am on a Sunday so there should have been plenty of hot water in the system.

The walls are thin.

Bathroom was not clean. Black mould in silicone around bath. Dirt that was easily removed by me on ledge at side of bath. Very strong smell of bleach in bathroom but not clean!
