Very late booking and got there just before 10pm closing. Cosy small room. Clean and fresh though. Only 1 cup on tea/ coffee tray 🤔 but other than that all good. Breakfast very nice. Staff very helpful and down to earth.

Ideal location for the places we were visiting had that old English traditional pub feel inside
It was exactly what we needed for a one night stay, I have nothing to complain about.
The wheatsheaf had lots of character The staff couldnt do enough for you so service and breakfast were excellent. The rooms had character
Room size was good. Welcome was warm. Location.
Bed was small, mattress tired. The whole building is in dire need of some love. It’s a great building, with lots of parking…if the place had a sensible renovation, lick of paint and had a good menu, it would be a massive hit. Timings for eating are very short, little flexibility. An opportunity missed.

It was a little noisy due to the bar downstairs but was ok once I shut the window
Friendly local pub, a good location for exploring the area. Family room was large, clean and tidy with comfy beds and a decent shower. Had the breakfast omelette - it was hot and very tasty.
Suited our needs - no complaints.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I am vegan and they catered for me.
As it was only a Overnight Stay, due to visiting Daughter in Gloucestershire the following day, there is not a great deal I can add.
Due to a slight illness, I was suffering with, I appreciated the helpfulness and kindness of the Hosts.
