Pros:

Breakfasts were very good and value for money. Location was ideal, close to all areas we visited.

Cons:

The room was very compact, would have liked a bigger room with more space. However it was quiet and comfortable.

Pros:

A real country Inn. A genuine old proper pub, not a 'Pubco bistro'. Real ales and draught lagers, pool table and 'locals'. Plenty of parking with good access.
Excellent home-cooked menu, lots of choice and very good value.
Good cooked breakfast. Nice coffee.
Run by a lovely couple, friendly and very welcoming....excellent hosts!
We would stay here again.

Cons:

Rooms a bit dated, very clean, quite comfortable, could do with an armchair perhaps and fewer ornaments.
The shower room had plenty of hot water but would benefit from updating.

Pros:

Excellent dinner - choice and quality. Excellent well-kept beers. Very good breakfast for both quality and value for money. All members of staff were professional, helpful and friendly

A fantastic stay with wonderful hosts, excellent food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Pros:

The stay was fantastic from start to finish. The room was large, spotless, and very comfortable. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home straight away. Both the evening meals and breakfasts were excellent, with great quality food and generous portions. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike — everything exceeded our expectations.

Staff and food are great but we all need a good night sleep.
Pros:

Good food and parking. Nice little bar.

Cons:

The noise from the main road is quite loud very early in the morning , bedroom windows could do with some kind of an upgrade to reduce the noise.
