Great location for walking to shops and restaurants. Good food and drinks. Very quiet hotel at night but a bit of road noise early morning. I loved having a small fridge especially as we went when the heatwave was here. Staff also very kindly put my blocks in the freezer every night for me.
I didn't like the Brita kettle/ water boiler. There was no sign to put on the door to say cleaning etc so my room wasn't cleaned for 4 days..
Lovely breakfasts. The regular breakfast had particularly delicious mushrooms and the yoghurt and granola was perfect. And thank you for the portable air-conditioning unit. Although quite loud, it cooled the room very quickly so it could be switched off for sleep.
Breakfast was included in the price and was very satisfactory.

The location was ideal for our visit to the Dereham Blues Festival.
The duvet was very heavy and much too warm for a July night. We slept under the luxurious bath sheets.
Location was great- right in the town. Great sized beer garden. Staff were lovely. Bedroom and en-suite were a good was a good size. Very grateful for a fan in the room as it was hot.
It looks tired. Breakfast room could do with a good clean-especially the windows. The piping for shower in the bedroom was off the wall.

Room was noisy due to traffic. However, they do have rooms not facing the road. Shower needs looking into as it’s not powerful enough. Shower curtain needs either washing or changing as it’s going mouldy in places.

I was at the front of the hotel and was disturbed by the traffic noise. There is a manhole cover that clunked all night when it was driven over. I know this is out of the control of the hotel, but it did spoil my stay.
The shower pressure was terrible, and the temperature did not seem to change when I moved the dial.
