Pros:

Great location for piece and quiet. Sadly our TV wasn't working, but on the bright side, we were given a much nicer room with a working TV.

Cons:

The location of the dining/breakfast room didn't allow the view to be enjoyed.

Underwhelming for the price I paid
Pros:

The entrance and function areas seemed to be lovely. It was like they spent all their money on that and nothing on the rooms

Cons:

The room I was given did not look like the photographs of the room I booked. And the lady at breakfast was not friendly at all.

A little disappointing, access restrictions, noise and over priced.
Pros:

Breakfast was good but things like the croissants were not replenished.

Cons:

I did not like being excluded from the gardens because of the wedding. I did not like that people throughout the evening were constantly visiting the room and banging the door on entry and exit as if something was hidden in there? When the wedding finally finished that there was no regard for other residents trying to sleep with drunken shouting in the corridor.

A New Era for Historic Hotel
Pros:

Beautiful location, and it was lovely to see the improvements that have been made to all common areas within the hotel.

Cons:

The hotel was clearly understaffed, and as such the levels of service experienced fell some way short of what should be expected.

A quick one night stay in May
Pros:

Fantastic location.
Comfy beds
Helpful and friendly staff
Great parking

Cons:

Smart functions on the TV in one room didn't work. Moved to a different room and the TV had no smart functions.

Although the breakfast had a wide range of options, overall I would say the food was average at best.
