First door entrance yo the annexe i couldn't lock so didn't feel 100%secure in my bedroom
Excellent breakfast
Lovely cosy hotel.Clean and friendly
The TV was very old and didn’t work properly
The hotel overlooks the river and is a short walk to the centre of town. The rooms are very comfortable with all the ameneties you would expect. The breakfasts were excellent. Very good value for money
Like many, older hotels in the UK there are no lifts, which means lugging your suitacase up a couple of flights of stairs. This is the cost of old world charm.
Very quaint and charming Victorian building , not pretending to be anything it isn’t. Fantastic location in the 2026 floods, high enough to be safely above the river and reachable.
Nothing to complain about.

Nice staff
Great breakfast
I love this hotel, its ambience, its situation but God, the coffee is awful! We visited on New Years Day, 10 of us, and your staff member could not have been more helpful in finding space for us to sit in the lounge area, just popped in for a coffee after a walk along the river. However, my latte was absolutely awful, bitter and almost undrinkable. I gave you the benefit of the doubt, said nothing but today I had exactly the same experience, undrinkable even with sugar added. My friend felt the same and left hers. We ordered hot chocolate after but this was almost undrinkable also, soooooooo sweet. Please please get a new machine. I understand the hotel has been taken over and whilst there this morning it was being assessed by designers, builders etc for a complete makeover. Could I please ask that you also make over the coffee machine!
The location - overlooking the river with an easy stroll to the heart of Worcester. Comfortable, traditional rooms. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Good value for money
A lift would be useful for those with heavy bags. A power point next to the bed for a phone.
Had a lovely stay at the Diglis hotel. We had a very comfortable room with great views of the river. The breakfast was cooked fresh every morning as well as a continental choice. We had our dog with us a the staff in the restaurant loved her. Sausage for her everyday.
The staff were great and Skye our Cairn make Diglis dog of the week enjoying a pup cup.
We will definitely be back especially to have the cocktails in the bar. Thanks all.
Lovely hotel, ideally located near the city centre with parking. Every member of staff greeted us with a smile and warm words whenever we passed, which made us feel welcome. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous and of a high quality, as well as looking over the river, which was very pretty. Our standard room was appropriately sized. The only negative was that the bathroom didn’t have a window, so the smell of the drains upon walking into the room was really strong. The hotel is clearly aware of this, as they tried to cover the smell with spray. The bed itself was not at all comfortable, every single spring could be felt, so unfortunately, I didn’t sleep all night.
If the hotel upgraded mattresses for ones without springs, it would be money well spent. Or thick mattress toppers, could be a good interim solution.
Lovely hotel with very pleasant helpful staff. Our room was warm and comfortable and overlooking the river.
We would definitely stay there again.
