Excellent location and our room had everything that we required. It was a really good size.
We had to wait a very long time for our cooked breakfast. The staff, both waitresses and kitchen staff, were run off their feet. We were told they had staff shortages - I hope the new owners have not cut back on staff as the hotel will get a bad reputation.
Friendly and professional reception and other staff Room fine for short stay. Parking may be a problem in height of season though we were lucky. Restaurant view over river lovely and food well cooked. Lots of choice for breakfast but very busy. Staff retained their sense of humour!
The location was great. Our room was clean but small.
I was emailed and told refurbishment work was going on during my stay but I didn’t expect the building site we walked into, had I known the extent of the work I would have cancelled/moved my booking as it was a present !!!!!!!!
Friendly and helpful staff. Gloriously situated hotel. Well appointed with some little niggles in our room, which were put right immediately.
Nothing.
Great location, lovely room, very comfortable bed, very good breakfast.
The staff were exceptional, couldn't do enough for us.
It was a bit cold at dinner in the conference room
Great location, friendly efficient staff, lovely room Mini suite 21 is spacious, comfortable and quiet with French Doors out onto a lawn overlooking the Rivet Severn.Good, freshly cooked breakfast in a lovely setting!
Parking was a nightmare,no spaces anywhere on arrival, being advised to park in King Street,a fair old walk away, was not helpful, finally got a space an hour after arriving, not an auspicious start to our stay after a long drive!
Complimentary bottled water in the room would be nice, most hotels of a similar standard supply some.
Excellent position right on the river and very close to town .
Breakfast was really good.
Nice beddings .
Under renovation when we arrived . Bar dismantled. Looked very untidy and uninviting ..
We were not informed that this was going on.
We had a twin single room .
Could do with a bedside table next to bed .
Breakfast was beautifully presented but the full English was overcooked
Breakfast was excellent
Room not so good
The location is perfect, room was clean, staff were lovely and helpful
no hot food on a Sunday after 5pm
The hotel is in an excellent location close to the cathedral. The staff were very helpful and the room which quite large with a good bathroom. Breakfast was good.
Nothing really
Location over looking the river was excellent. Staff very helpful and rooms and breakfast very good.
Couldn’t fault anything.
Breakfast very good. Dinner excellent. Use of bath a problem as soap etc was in bottles out of reach unless standing up and taps could not be reached without standing up. Taps were not easy to grip with wet hands.
See above
Staff friendly, great location
Dog friendly, loved the dog bed and bowls provided in the room.
All good, only small issue, it would have been nice to have 2 bedside tables.
