Location was really lovely, right next to the River Severn. Patio area was a great place to have a coffee and watch the rowers go past along with all the swans. Bar area was small but comfy and the staff were amazing. We had been alerted before our arrival that renovation works had started so we expected some disruption but it did not affect us in anyway. Service at the bar and breakfast was really good and we did not have to wait long for meals or drinks. Staff were friendly and always smiling and checking we were ok.
Reception area is quite small and on to the route to the kitchens so you felt you were slightly in the way but this may have been a result of the works taking place. Breakfast was OK but some parts were slightly over cooked (bacon but only on one plate). Didn't complain as bacon was still edible just a bit more crunchy. The black pudding was not a nice one but that could be personal preference
Breakfast was fantastic. Lovely location on river and staff were very helpful
Little dated but i saw a refurb coming soon and it was still decent vaue
Receptionist was amazing and super friendly and helpful. Location on the river is great and short walk into town centre. Bar and outside seating really nice for an afternoon drink by the river.
Restaurant staff for the evening meal seemed thin on the ground and rushed making mistakes. Breakfast very average to poor with sausage burnt one side raw the other, fried eggs solid overall poor quality, continental options poor. Overall restaurant needs to improve especially for the prices they charge. On the positive side my rare streak was cooked to perfection.
Lovely corner aspect room with views over the river and towards the cathedral. Handy parking and good breakfast made it overall a really n9ce experience.
Car park a little awkward and quite small but not too bad.
The hotel was in a beautiful situation, close to the river and an easy walk into Worcester. The breakfast and dinner that we had at the hotel was very good.
Our room was clean and comfortable.
We booked our stay approximately 2 weeks before we were due to arrive but it took approximately 10 days for the hotel to inform us that there was work being completed and this work had started in February and would end sometime in April. Our stay was from 4 - 6 March. Luckily the workman were respectful and other than reducing the parking space, the workman didn’t spoil our stay.
We were also not aware that it was a possibility that our room could have been in a separate building. Which meant a walk across the garden and could have been a problem if it was raining.
We were lucky and had a room in the main building but our friends did not. Thankfully except for our last morning we had dry weather.
Great location. Staff are lovely. Food very good.
A bit tired - in the middle of a redecoration but needs something more fundamental…. Rooms very mixed. I was in a 1980s broom cupboard for nearly £90 a night!
We booked the Diglis for our wedding. It was simply the best place to celebrate our special day. The staff were incredible, they thought of absolutely everything, and they were so helpful and kind!
A special thank you to Megan, without whom our day wouldn’t exist, she was absolutely incredible. The venue was exactly how we imagined it, our room was super cosy. Even with the poor weather we managed to take perfect pictures since the hotel is located in such a lovely place near the river. Simply thank you to everyone that helped us for this incredible wedding weekend!
Clean and good position
No enough parking space
Breakfast was good, service a little slow but probably as cooked to order
Made aware of building works - not an issue, but should of been told half the carpark was out of use as the parking was main reason for booking
Lovely place to stay. Can recommend room 23 as it has wonderful views of the river. Great choice for breakfast and friendly staff.
Breakfast amazing, excellent right by the river Severn, hotel and room excellent & staff very helpful
