Fantastic location and fabulous outdoor area
Excellent location by the river with easy access to attractions
Being beside the river was so lovely. There was many areas to sit and relax. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant. The room was large and traditional, and bed was comfortable and quiet. Quick walk to central city and lovely walks along the river to the canal bakery and lochs.
The windows in our room , when open had kitchen smells galore , so we had to shut them. The staff were super busy and seemed to be stressed. Music was weird - a better playlist would have added to the ambience.

La stanza che ci hanno dato era totalmente non conforme alla descrizione.non era nell'hotel ma in una dependance maleodorante in fondo al giardino, ma soprattutto era una mansarda microscopica e rovente con letti sfondati e piccoli che provenivano da un ostello anni 50. Si picchia la testa persino per sdraiarsi a letto. Vergognoso.

parking is tight
Location, food and staff were excellent.
Room was tiny and difficult to move around in. The furnishings were very tired and dated - the headboard fabric matched the curtains but was very stained where people had rested their head. The first room we were allocated was up in the eves and extremely hot so we requested to move. This was the second room! We felt that whilst the communal areas and outside were lovely and up to date the bedrooms need a serious upgrade!

Great location. Good sized rooms and comfortable
Whilst the food was good the restaurant staff were slow and disinterested. They need to engage with customers, smile and look them in the eye. The need to clear tables rather then leave them when others are still eating. The food ordering system need need to be reviewed because we did not receive ours until a delay of 55 minutes and two chasers. Others walked out before their food came because of the long wait. This experience spoilt our visit . Breakfast was also very slow

The evening meal was excellent and very good value. The room was small but comfortable. The gardens were lovely.
Really hard to get a parking spot in the car park.
