Our stay
Pros:

The property was lovely... Warm and cosy with both a bath and a shower. It felt out in the country but was close enough to get to the town

Perfect for food but needs attention on cleaning the rooms , won’t win four in a bed anytime soon

Lovely looking building Decor very nice food lovely

Cons:

Room wasn’t very clean at all.windows and blinds filthy , bathroom had lots of mould around the shower and black mould at the back of the toilet seat . Furniture and skirting boards dusty

First time staying here, will definitely return when back in the area

Bar shut at 10pm because it wasn’t busy enough, a little disappointed but not devastated

Great for an overnight stay or a long weekend. Perfect for our weekend at Santa Pod
Pros:

Very nice building and decor. Spacious and traditional with a welcoming feel. Nice food from the bar as well as full English breakfast in the morning

Cons:

We had room 17 which was a nice room but being on the main road side would benefit from better sound insulation windows as road noise was quite prominent

Very convenient as we were attending a function in the village hall just 5 minutes away.
Pros:

Nicely fitted room with everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Cons:

Just a small thing. It would have been useful to have coat hooks in the room to place overcoats.

Adequate budget accommodation, with lovely staff
Pros:

The staff were charming, helpful and polite. Evening meal was excellent.

Cons:

Room facilities were very limited. Some cleanliness issues encountered.
