It was lovely decor
Unfortunately the bed was super squeaky couldn’t turn with out it make loud noises.
Great value hotel with very helpful, friendly and local staff. Comfortable room, very clean with everything we required. Very nice bar, restaurant and the public restrooms were very clean.
Menu covered a wide range of tastes and the food was well presented and delicious especially breakfast.

Highly recommend the restaurant - excellent food and prompt, friendly service. We had everything we needed in our room that has had refurbishments done and was very clean and comfortable. For a very old hotel it has been kept well. There was helpful tourist information in the dresser drawer and necessary toiletries in the bathroom. Hairdryer also provided. Just wish the one or two squeaky floorboards could speak to us of some of the history they have seen! We loved the Panmure.
The furniture was quaint but a bit well worn. Temperature of shower was not quite as hot as desired but not too bad.
Meal at night was good value and wholesome, breakfast was great I’ve stayed in more star rated hotels with poorer breakfast PANAMURE breakfast is excellent 👌
