Full of character, super location, lovely staff, excellent food.
Good location
The room was a bit cold when we arrived but it warmed up after we put the spare heater on .
A wonderful location managed by very friendly helpful staff. The menu was excellent with good food to match excellent service. Would go out of my way to stay there again.
Nothing. Iliked everything about the place.
Always love to stay at the Colintraive. First time in room 1 and it’s really nice
We were having dinner or so didn’t get to try Joe’s amazing food…next time
I enjoyed the bath in our room. Plenty of hot water.
I really didn't like being squashed into the bar for my evening meal.I would have preferred to have been in the dining room. Apparently there was a problem as to why we couldn't be in the dining room.
Overall,we had a pleasant stay at the Colintraive Inn. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the co- owner likewise. Our room needed a little TLC,but was acceptable . Our only negative experience was one dinner (out of three) which was to be frank shambolic, a consequence of an extremely busy evening,I think. In fairness, this we were not charged for it and in fact we're offered a drink on the house. The breakfasts were excellent.
A decent stay overall and we would definitely return.

Dinner meltdown
Excellent hotel, staff and food.
Everything
Love the Colintraive! The location is absolutely stunning, the staff are friendly and the food is good. This is the third or fourth time staying over there and it never gets tired.
This time around, the food was a little tired - we ate towards the end of the night and you could tell. It wasn't awful by any means, but by the C's usual standards it felt a bit like it had been hanging around for a while. Otherwise, no problems at all.
Dog friendly and great staff
Toilet hadn’t been cleaned
Everything was perfect. Food was superb. Friendly staff.
Lovely comfortable small in where you are made to feel extremely welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
You go for the food and the views, both are exceptional.
The menu has something for everyone whilst being compact, the quality of the produce is superb, and worth the wait.
Great wine list too.
Great night’s sleep.
Beautiful sunsets or a rainbow - the weather is not within the owners’ control!
Nothing!
First class food from Chef/Proprietor's team. Excellent, cheerful staff. Cask ale from Fyne Ales brewery in superb condition. Imaginative wine list. Jolly locals made us feel most welcome. Colintraive's community is special and its EV chargers at their Heritage Centre are a great facility (once you get the hang of the Pod Point payment system).
Weather on our second day!
