Pros:

Booked in for 2 nights with my 5 year old Grandson.
Looks very pleasant from the outside, smallish car park to the rear, but quite a pretty beer garden.

Told 3 hours before arriving at the property that they had a " function" the following night and there would probably be music until midnight and would that be a problem ? Had to accept it, as it was far too late to arrange other accomodation. The music did indeed go on to midnight.

Overall the staff were pleasant, especially the ladies who cleaned the room.

As in previous reviews, some of the rooms need a little TLC. The bottom part of the one bed was still broken ( mentioned in another couple of reviews). THe beds were comfy.
The bathroom was fine, but the overhead shower was slow, I don't have a power shower at home, but mine is faster. Also could not move the shower head for direction
Breakfast was good and I had a bar meal which was really tasty
Overall value for money was good, rooms, especially bathroom could do with some TLC,

Room was great. Comfortable bed. Wonderful food - generous portions. Breakfast was lovely. Good selection of beers. Two roaring fireplaces which make the cold winder night even more inviting for a warming drink. Will stay again.

Delightful well placed hotel
Pros:

Delightful old fashioned hotel very well situated for amazing Pagham Harbour RSPB and Chichester. Spotless bedroom and ensuite.
Cooked breakfast good but we missed muesli fruit and yogurt which were not provided. All staff lovely and could not be more helpful

Pros:

A charming period style hotel that functions very nicely with some excellent staff. Coupled with an excellent food offering. Hotel is just in need of some updates and TLC. I know this is not an easy task in our uncertain economic climate.

In a nut shell not a perfect but an enjoyable stay for business.
