Le lit n'est pas fabuleux mais ca reste ok

Wir, 75 und 78 Jahre alt, mußten unseren Koffer bis in den 3. Stock über Steile, nehrfach gewendelte Trepoen schleppen. Keine Parkmöglichkeit bei der Ankunft in der Nähe des Hotels.

Please, please, please, change the water boiler in the room because it is a source of domestic incidents: one needs to be able to detach the container from the base, as it normally is.

Maybe the mattress needs an upgrade.

The cleanliness of the accommodation was disgusting. Everything all over the hotel was sticky everywhere you touched. The carpets throughout the hotel were very dirty. The smell coming from the kitchen in the morning was absolutely honking, not a nice smell to wake up to. The bar toilets were dirty and in my own room the floor hadn’t been hoovered and the bathroom fan was absolutely full of filth so didn’t work! When I arrived to check in there was no one to greet me and I had to find my own way up 2 flights of stairs. When I found someone my room had been given away to someone else so I was put to sit in the bar until it was sorted. On departure I was told I had an outstanding bill but had paid everything through booking.com.

Room not cleaned. Narrow bed. Access staircase dirty. Lack of toilet paper. Tea / coffee not replaced - previous occupant’s dirties left in basket.
WC dirty.

Bed was too small, and uncomfortable.

Parking wasn’t easy on a busy weekend.

Moquette molto sporca. Bagno sporco. Per noi non è stato un grande problema ma ci sono 4 piani di scale, senza ascensore.

There seem to be no elevators in any Scottish hotels, so be ready to exercise with your luggage through narrow stairways. Because of some kind of folk festival sleeping was not an option without headphones.

All good for us.

Noisy ( no complaints from me but if you're looking for quiet it's not for you) folks sitting out drinking until we'll after 1am, then folk chatting outside window bustle going on from like 7am.. Deffo had a holiday abroad vibe ( was a heatwave few days)

The only comment I would make was that the breakfast seemed a little unappealing! Was happy with a continental breakfast, but the choice was limited, and the first morning we went down it hadn’t been restocked, it was better when we went down earlier the second day but I feel there could still be a bigger choice!

Steep stairs to room - 50 or so. Shiwer fittings broken. No sockets bedside for chargers etc.. Only two on an opposite wall. Poor cleaning. Bathroom bot attended too. No clean towels provided. No toilet paper provided when it run out. Weird noises early morning, like firstly a dripping tap, then a noisy generator or similar kicking in early am. Poor sleep as a consequence. Toilet either did not flush, or when it did, it just kept noisily running.
Poor continental breakfast - eggs one day, none the next. Ridiculous restricted time for breakfast - 8am to 9am weekdays. Room boiling on day 1. Asked about aircon. "I'll get back to you" was reply. Still waiting...
Bar gloomy and very tired. Needs refurb. Tables all sticky as if never cleaned. Seemed to be no consistency of staff, so no ownership of issues.
