Beetje liefde nodig
Pros:

Goede locatie, dicht tegen het centrum en station.
Ruimte genoeg in de kamer, groot bed en de badkamer was recent vernieuwd.

Cons:

Matras wat aan de harde kant, de veren kwamen er gewoon door. Denk nieuwe matras of topper erover zou geen slechte zaak zijn.
Het gordijn was niet verduisterend en rook naar kattenurine.

Pros:

Easy to walk to the high street/university area (15 mins)

Staff was approachable e.g. when I asked for an ironing board, they brought it up

Helpful staff offering to carry my luggage up for me.

Cons:

Although the bedroom was clean, the bathroom was very filthy. It had been left with tooth brush/soap splatters everywhere. The walls around the shower area was dirty too. This made me feel uncomfortable staying there.

There was no hair dryer or iron in the room. I had conference while I was there and meant to wake up early next day. I went downstairs twice asking for a hair dryer, but no one brought it up. I texted and called the number too, explaining I needed it before going to bed. I stayed up till very late waiting and finally went to bed without being able to wash my hair. Before going to bed, I sent another text requesting that they at least brought it up in the morning, but they hadnt so I went to the conference and business meetings/networking without washing my hair! To be fair, when I came back to the hotel in the evening the hair dryer was outside my room, but it was 24 hrs after I had requested it. I had the same issue with borrowing an iron for my clothes.

In case of necessity the location is good

The facility is old and needs attention. We didnt have any problem but if we had we would find nobody to deal with.

Great location!
Pros:

The location is excellent. Walking distance to everything and super quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We got an early check in and they were happy to store our luggage.

Cons:

The beds weren't the comfiest and it's an older style hotel, however still good value for money.

Welcoming, attentive staff, good location, near city centre, local amenities and train station.
Pros:

The staff were genuinely lovely. The hotel has a family run feel to it with its own restaurant downstairs, they were attentive and very welcoming.
The location is ideal, set on a quiet backstreet in Jericho, close to both Oxford city centre and to the pubs, bars and restaurants of the local area, which we found excellent.

Cons:

The room itself is a little tired, though it was a good size with clean bedding and fresh towels. The beds were very narrow and the shower area was a little awkward to access. No breakfast included.

Ausreichender Komfort, gute Lage
Pros:

Gute Lage, fußläufig zur Altstadt, schönen Restaurants, Cafés und Parks. Es gab einen Kühlschrank, Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Zimmer wirkte sauber und ordentlich.

Cons:

Das WLAN hat extrem schlecht funktioniert. Die Möbel sind ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. An der Rezeption war meistens niemand.
Ich war während einer Hitzewelle in Oxford und das Zimmer wurde sehr warm. Es gab aber immerhin einen Ventilator.

Poor quality but close to town centre
Pros:

Close to the town centre, within walking distance. It has its own bathroom.

Cons:

The room did not resemble the photos on the site. It was poorly furnished, the floor sloped, it had not been properly cleaned and there was a smell. The bed was uncomfortable.

Comfortable and clean in a great location
Pros:

Great location for where I needed to be at a conference. Clean and entirely fit for purpose for my needs but don’t expect cutting edge facilities or luxury

Cons:

It’s basically a set of rooms above a restaurant so I didn’t see a soul from check in (in the restaurant) to check out (posting my keys through an office door). This was not a problem for me but don’t stay here if you expect or need staff at your beck and call.
