Just what we needed for a comfortable stopover en route to Cornwall.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent - poached eggs and avocado on sourdough and a bacon roll were both well cooked and well presented.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have some Greek yoghurt with the granola.

Excellent stay. Will not hesitate to book again.

Not a bad experience but as someone who spent 26 years in hospitality as a publcan,chef and hotelier they need to improv

Location,parking public areas clean and clutter free, and good pint of draught beer

Cons:

Room 4 wash hand basin taps not secured to the basin, to use you have to hold the tap spout with one hand then operate the tap valve with the other!!

The full English breakfast is a full plate full, unfortunately the overriding flavour was of grease, although advised that there would be toast non was offered.

Upon leaving the staff were very hospitable except for the manager.

A nice hotel with freindly staff but could be better maintained
Pros:

The room was pleasant. The breakfast was cooked to order. Evening meals were good too.

Cons:

The shower was hard to work so needed a service.
No mushrooms for our breakfast so extra tomatoes were given.

Nice location with wonderfully staff
Pros:

Good location, with parking. 10 Min walk to the beach and the High Street.
The staff are great and very welcoming

Fantastic! Will visit again.
Pros:

Both the pub and the rooms were fantastic. Cosy and homely, and very clean and well maintained.

The staff were also brilliant. Highly recommended!

I could hear the man in the next room talking: could understand the words . and then there was his snoring … no sound proofing between those two rooms …I had to wear ear plugs to get to sleep

Ideal base as close to the beach and town center. Food available every evening plus a licenced bar.
Pros:

Location was good, but noisy which was expected due to the location. staff very polite.

Cons:

Hairdryer was difficult to use as the plug was away from the mirror.

Cons:

Short staffed and the staff were clearly stressed and therefore not very polite as too rushed.
The bar staff need to be separate from the restaurant staff as they couldn't cope.
