If you want a nice home cooked meal and comfortable bed for the night then this is the place to book.
Pros:

What a good find. Great food, lovely friendly place and comfortable clean room.
Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if in the area.

Pros:

Comfortable room, clean, well appointed. Really friendly welcome, happy to accomodate me, my bike, all my cycling stuff, and the Landlord even leant me a charger for my phone.

Cons:

Nothing, I think they did a great job.

I was very disappointed as per my other comments.
Pros:

It was clean and tidy and the food was very plentiful.

Cons:

In my opinion you could not rightfully use the term 'deluxe' to describe the room as per the booking section. It was all very dated.

Sadly not worth the money for room only
Pros:

Good location - staff pleasant. The pub was warm and quite busy for the weekend before Christmas.
The room was clean and the decor was nice.

Cons:

Didn't realise the room was outside and not in the pub. The room had no central heating in December! Hot chocolate ran out the day we arrived. The bed was creaky and bouncy. We didn't use the shower and we left very early so we can't comment on whether it was working.

It gave me an upbeat introduction to Swaffham, a town I'd not visited previously.
Pros:

Excellent location for the purpose of our visit. The Red Lion has an attractive entrance and there was a cheerful welcome by staff.
Good location for evening meal and breakfast. The overnight accommodation was adequate. Especially significant it was quiet considering the pub location.

Cons:

The shower was cool. I couldn't get the water hotter, (NB I HAD pulled the cord to ensure the power was on). The breakfast was served later than I had been advised (I'd understood it would be available from 8.30). In fact we couldn't have it before 9am. This created a problem in relation to my return travel arrangements using public transport.

Great Location in a Quaint town.
Pros:

Friendly Staff and Owners, excellent location, comfortable room. We did not eat at the place as we had pre booked other plans.

Cons:

No Free Parking on site (2 hour maximum) but free 24 Hour parking around the corner so not bad at all.
