Expensive and no better than the place half the price we stay in the night before
The bathroom was filthy. All along the bottom of re sink was dirty and the bath may was black underneath! Also they didn’t do a very good vegan breakfast for my husband despite me letting them know in advance. In this day and age that is not acceptable from somewhere charging £130 per night.
Spacious room with lovely view, beautiful grounds with lots of birds, delicious breakfast cooked to order, jacuzzi in room, excellent location for scenic walks
Some furnishings and decor could do with a refresh and the mattress was a bit saggy
O pessoal excelente
Close to Scafell Pike, the staff were friendly.
The property was extremely dated and the heating was switched off, so it was very cold when we arrived. For what we got I thought the prices wasn't great.
Perfect place to stay , quiet calm … Taste food
Just gets better and better

Great area and a very welcomed stay.
The restaurant happened to be closed over the weekend that we were there.
Location was beautiful. Grounds very well kept. Free-roaming birds a lovely surprise
Self catering cottage. Would have been nice to have basics like salt/pepper provided.
Beds were very uncommon
Windows painted shut - was hot so this was inconvenient
Location was amazing
Food was great
Staff were great
The peacocks making noise at 5am
Lovely place in a lovely setting. Really spacious with a kitchen and living dining area with a view of the woods. The hall and the grounds are beautiful with peacocks, chickens and pigs around the place. Will come again
