Fine for a work trip very small room and a small bed.
Pros:

Dinner was delicious, did very well with the food allergies. very friendly staff. Lots of hot water and good shower.

Cons:

The bed was small having been told it was king size, it definitly wasnt. The bedroom was very small which was fine for 1 night, wouldn't have wanted to stay for 2. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. The dining room was cold despite sitting very close to the fire. No one else was eating in there, 2 groups in the bar.

Dirty towel
Pros:

Convenient for location. Food was good

Cons:

Generally everything was good. The room was chilly even with the smallest of heaters on the wall in the corner up full. Biggest disappointment was in the morning after having a shower the towel was dirty like it had been used to wipe the floor. This meant the two of us had to share one towel. Could not get the towel changed as one of us was dripping wet from the shower and the other was not dressed. No phone in the room to ring reception. The phone is actually out in the corridor. Reported to reception when checking out and took the dirty towel to show them but they were uninterested and said they would let house keeping know. No apologies for this.

Whilst standard of room was good, far too cramped, little space for cases or to walk by side of bed.
Pros:

Restaurant and bar good, food good too. Location by Grand Union canal great and loads of car parking.

Cons:

Room small, could hardly fit 2 suitcases in and minimal space between bed and wall. Bathroom compact but otherwise good. Other issue was with windows open noise from fans from kitchen until around midnight, with windows closed room hot and stuffy as no A/C.

Pros:

Dinned in restaurant on the night , a choice of dishes on the menu to choose from ,prompt service and food off decent quality .
All staff were attentive , polite and helpful ,Great location to just relax and chill.

Cons:

didn't realize so far out from the village ,as I would have liked to wander around.
Could have walked along the canal tow path into the village but didn't have the energy lol
