Clean but basic
Pros:

Very clean and seam,less check-in

Cons:

Breakfast was served until 11. We went downstairs at 10.20. waitress took our order. We were still waiting at 11.20. Staff took tea and coffee away. when I asked for a glass for some juice. I was told breakfast finished at 11. I said that we hadn't had our breakfast yet. Eventually got a glass but no tea. I understand it was busy but we could have been updated and an apology would have been good. Drinks very expensive. Room was very small but to b e fair it did say that it was a small; double room. I wouldn't stay again because of being made to feel a nuisance at breakfast. We also asked for a well done egg but that didn't happen.

Lovely stay!
Pros:

Rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable and pillows good. Our room was directly next to the road, but the traffic noise didn’t bother us. Bathroom was great and shower good.

Cons:

It was quite cold in the room when we arrived. One window had secondary glazing (the one next to the road), but the other didn’t. There was a little bit of a draft. The hall was also very cold.
It would have been handy to have been given two keys as you need a special tag to get through the security door.

Warm, cosy, ideal for short stays
Pros:

The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor was warm and cosy with a good bar. The room was clean and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable. We stayed for just one night as it was close to a venue we were visiting, but would happily stay here again.

Cons:

Nothing that The Kings Arms could change. We had an experience with Uber saying they couldn't find us, but that wasn't the venues fault at all.

Comfortable and cosy in a good location, albeit a little on the small side
Pros:

Lovely location by the canal with a nice big car park. Close enough to the NEC which was convenient for our stay. Comfortable room and bed.

Cons:

Room was pretty small (but it worked for us) and felt a bit close to the road and looked into from the path. If you have a reasonable amount of luggage the room (and access) would be a bit awkward.
