Nice stay
Pros:

Friendly welcome and nice room.

Cons:

There were no in room facilities like tea and coffee, but these were close by in reception.

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious. Such a lovely quiet space to relax and unwind. This was our 3rd visit and we will definitely be back.

Cons:

The weather, but the roaring coal fire made up for that.

Quiet country get away in boutique hotel
Pros:

Tastefully decorated. Food amazing! Quaint bar with stove lit. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Even the locals in the bar /restaurant were friendly. Quiet location which was perfect. Comfortable bed. Rooms tad small but again well finished. Complementary coffee/tea facilities in main lounge, enjoyed the flat whites. Will be back!

The host did his very best with what he had but the wexperience hole was of a poor standard.
Pros:

The building looks nice from the outside and the public areas are well decorated and comfortable.

Cons:

The bedrooms are too small with no practical hanging space or dressing area.

Good stay in rural location.
Pros:

Location was ideal, room very clean and food good. Cooked breakfast (optional extra) was excellent and good value.
Friday night curry was also good.

Cons:

The room was quite small and bathroom a bit cramped but very clean. It would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room or drinking glasses. Would also suggest installing a bell at the Reception desk or bar area used for breakfasts.
