Good location for our trip. Good vibes be as the England match was on.
No aircon on a hot night.
comfortable bed, good towels, generous selection of tea and coffee, breakfast oats and muffins, good accessible location and quiet
nothing I didn't like, second floor location might challenge some
Property was great… perfectly placed for where we were going. Free road parking directly outside. Great food in the bar for lunch and super friendly staff… still open when we returned for drinks too before going up. The room was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed. Couldn’t fault it. Actually booked again for next month.
Stairs to the rooms were a little steep… to be expected for such a building but something to note if mobility is difficult. Wasn’t an issue for us though thankfully.
Great staff, very welcoming. Accommodated an early check-in, and so helpful with parking and local amenities.
Great location, nice simple room which was clean and comfortable. Very quiet overnight
Staff were really friendly.
Location - bus stop outside to take you straight into central London. The pub itself - lovely atmosphere, great garden area, great staff.
Room we stayed in was very hot. To be fair, weather was hot, but even at night just could not cool the room down.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Great shower
Steep stairs
Very comfortable. Completely quiet despite being above the pub (2 floors down)
No breakfast on site
Great value for money, easy, straightforward check in and checkout. We had lunch at the restaurant and the chicken and waffles were incredible!
Quiet, spacious, excellent facilities and very straightforward
Reminded me how untidy our house is
Very good and very well located. Close to the train station and in just a few minutes to London centre.
Clean, comfortable, quiet.
Just above a pub - good for dinner.
(No breakfast possibly during the week)
Bed a bit small (135 cm wide)
Very Friendly staff and great atmosphere
All good
The breakfast was really yummy, and there is a great selection of gins! The decor is nice and it's in a good location. Nice smelling toiletries.
The bathroom smelled of damp, and the shower really stank of drains. We were staying for my cousin's wedding nearby, and needed an iron. The staff couldn't locate one, and said they'd try and find it. Then left us waiting for about an hour. So we decided to just go to the reception, at which point a staff member said they'd go to their house and we could borrow theirs. It took a further 15/20 minutes. We ended up being an hour and a half late to the reception. The staff were pretty non-plussed about the hassle they were causing us, even put out that we'd asked for an iron and had then pressed them about it.
The bed was uncomfortable, and the street noise was so loud. Obviously it's London - but the price was ridiculous for what it was.
The next morning, we ordered breakfast, and again, the staff member was pretty unbothered.
Die Lage ist genial, das Personal (Eleonore) war Super freundlich und hilfsbereit
Besserer Hinweis auf die Parking Situation und dass Praktikers für 10 GBP möglich sind.
Schwierig an Kaffe am Morgen zu kommen
Cosy, not too far of a walk from nearest high streets and shops, had everything you needed for a short stay in London.
Rooms are not sound proof, any noise from outside or from the other rooms was very noticeable. Paid £150ish for 1 night on London Marathon weekend, any other time I would not have paid that much for the room, defo £80 a night tops.
