Lovely stay,good value for money and great location for station.
Pros:

Great location for King's College hospital. Room was spacious and had everything needed. Bonus of having a fan with the hot weather.
Towels, hair dryer, shower gels etc provided.

Cons:

Bed was a little hard, but thats personal preference. Pillows were comfy.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Cons:

Booking.com lead us to believe food and breakfast was available and they don't offer that service at the moment. I think that they probably did as a kitchen was visible from the bar.
We asked what time the bar was open until as we were going to a show, 11.30 we were told. When we returned at 11.10 a young man told me that the bar was closed.

It was ideal situation, staff very nice.

Cons:

Road works right outside window on all three nights I stayed, very noisy. Lights in bathroom never went off, light leaked through the door.

Cons:

It was very hot during the summer, and there was no fan or air conditioning provided. It would probably be a much more comfortable place to stay during the winter.
The accommodation is located directly above a bar, which can be quite noisy, especially at weekends. If you need to open the windows because of the heat and are travelling for business, as I was, it can be difficult to work in the evenings due to the noise. This is added to the fact this was more like rooms not a proper hotel as no service and no one to contact once the bar closed at around 12 pm. Additionally; I heard some pets on some other rooms, so not monitored to make sure no pets policy applied as per booking website

Pros:

Staff were friendly, room was spacious. We stayed during a heatwave, and while there was no air-conditioning, there was no issue being given a fan when we asked for one.

Cons:

If the pub wasnt open, there was no way to speak to anyone. Price high for a very basic experience. Location is quite out of the city and there was no information in the hotel about transport options.
Arriving at the pub, I was asked to pay by being sent a link from a payment site I was unfamiliar with. I opted to pay through the booking.com app for peace of mind and several times I was told it hadn't gone through despite showing my booking was now listed as paid on the app.

Pros:

Friendly staff, good location next to Denmark Hill station. Nice terrace at front of bar for a relaxing drink after a long day.

Cons:

It waa a bit basic but it did the job, room and bathroom were very clean.

Great location
Pros:

Quiet room, clean and comfy bed. Easy check in and out.Would have been nice to have a kettle and some tea /.coffee facilities in the room, but apart from that it was great and a brilliant location for the train station, buses and Kings Hospital
