It was ideal situation, staff very nice.
Road works right outside window on all three nights I stayed, very noisy. Lights in bathroom never went off, light leaked through the door.
Location
It was very hot during the summer, and there was no fan or air conditioning provided. It would probably be a much more comfortable place to stay during the winter.
The accommodation is located directly above a bar, which can be quite noisy, especially at weekends. If you need to open the windows because of the heat and are travelling for business, as I was, it can be difficult to work in the evenings due to the noise. This is added to the fact this was more like rooms not a proper hotel as no service and no one to contact once the bar closed at around 12 pm. Additionally; I heard some pets on some other rooms, so not monitored to make sure no pets policy applied as per booking website
Staff were friendly, room was spacious. We stayed during a heatwave, and while there was no air-conditioning, there was no issue being given a fan when we asked for one.
If the pub wasnt open, there was no way to speak to anyone. Price high for a very basic experience. Location is quite out of the city and there was no information in the hotel about transport options.
Arriving at the pub, I was asked to pay by being sent a link from a payment site I was unfamiliar with. I opted to pay through the booking.com app for peace of mind and several times I was told it hadn't gone through despite showing my booking was now listed as paid on the app.

Friendly staff, good location next to Denmark Hill station. Nice terrace at front of bar for a relaxing drink after a long day.
It waa a bit basic but it did the job, room and bathroom were very clean.

Quiet room, clean and comfy bed. Easy check in and out.Would have been nice to have a kettle and some tea /.coffee facilities in the room, but apart from that it was great and a brilliant location for the train station, buses and Kings Hospital
Lo mejor en mi caso fue la ubicación ya que está cerca del king's college. La cama era cómoda y el personal fue amable en todo momento. Fácil hacer el check in y el check out.
La habitación estaba mucho más sucia de lo esperado. El baño parecía estar limpio y también la cama, sábanas y toallas, pero la moqueta estaba extremadamente sucia y había mucho polvo.
