Very happy
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful place. staff were lovely breakfast in the morning was very good. I would good go back.

Cons:

Very minor. stayed in Courtyard room. Room felt quite small.

Unpleasant stay
Pros:

Good location, lovely building

Cons:

Small room, difficulty getting into the bed only eight inches between the bed and a brick pillar both sides of the bed,only one chair in the room,the bathroom which was a wet room had a towel across the floor to stop the water running into the bedroom, there was sealant missing on the shelf and poor paintwork on the skirting board.
Very small and expensive menu however the food was good

Fanham's Hall Hotel.
Pros:

Staff were v professional, helpful and very pleasant.

Cons:

No lift in parts of hotel. Pumped water system noisy and didn't allow proper water temperature control. Bedroom very hot for no reason.... radiators off etc. Bring an umbrella cos many bedrooms in annexe are not linked to main hotel.

We had a very short stay due to a flight cancellation but would certainly go back and stay for longe

Cons:

Tired looking, food at restaurant wasn’t very nice, I ordered the breaded Brie and it was liquid cheese inside the crust which isn’t how it should be cooked. Fairly disappointing experience.

Pros:

We only stayed one night to visit a friend who lived in where this was a lovely hotel and the staff were exceptional. Well recommended and not too expensive.

Impressive exterior with lovely park grounds. Staff was very accommodating, bed was comfy.

Cons:

I think I just wasn't that thrilled because of the price. We stayed only 1 night and that was expensive! And for that price the room was mediocre. The shower head had limescale so some jets were blocked. The cups we had were dusty, I had to wash them before use. Wall was scuffed, carpets stained. Was okay but just not something I would expext for 190€ a night
